“I have been by here a couple of times, and would like to stay a bit longer next time and get to know the place better. On one of my visits there was a neighborhood fund raiser or sports team party of some kind, so the place was crowded, but the servers were still very helpful. The place is nothing fancy, just your basic modestly-sized local brewpub. They sell bottles, drafts, and growlers of their stuff here, all at reasonable prices, and the quality, while not mind-blowing is solid, with several taps (TWELVE as of today, not the 3 written here) and a range of their brews available. A visit here is worth your time.“

“I enjoyed my recent visit to Broken Bow (first time)...the place was kinda cool if not polished or fancy/trendy in any way. It’s functional and works well...maybe even a bit eclectic. The staff was great on the slow Sunday afternoon I visited...talked for a long time to one of the bartenders...who poured me flights of everything. There were "11" beers the day I went...with quite a wide variation.. farmhouse, sour, kolsch, barley wine aged in rye whiskey barrels, bock, lager, Belgium golden strong, IPA, APA, red ale, and a stout. I was very impressed with the selection. The quality varied some...from good to very good...with a couple even better than that. I purchased a 750ml of a special release IPA as well as the rye whiskey barrel barleywine. I would place this brewery on a list of must visits when relatively in the area...but not yet a destination brewery...however...with other worthy places nearby (Gun Hill, Yonkers, and especially the up and coming Bronx Brewery)...I would simply include this in a Westchester/northern NYC brewery tour. (PS: Even given Broken Bow may not have been as good 2 1/2 years ago...and everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion...the previous score is way below what the place should have scored based on that review...I would have considered a 56 or 58 as sufficient enough of a low score to make the reviewer’s point...the problem is that with such an outlier as a "38"...it’s going to have a long-term effect on this place’s overall score...which doesn’t seem fair...so I encourage anyone who visits to make sure you enter a review...it will take a high number of favorable reviews to offset a 38)“

“Stopped by here today with my brother. There is a potential to brew a lot of beer here. As of now, they have 3 beers on tap and 2 televisions. They also have a few tables and allow and encourage people to order takeout. The flight is $6 for 3 2oz samples which is pretty steep considering the quality of the beer. Hopefully they put out something more interesting.“

“This has a fun vibe to it, with a decent beer menu, and good food. It is a little pricy, but a fun place to spend happy hour.“

“This is a new and nice place located near the Tuckahoe train station. While there, I had Heady Topper, a rare cask ale, some Hill Farmstead. They stock a nice selection and the owners seem to love craft beer. They do have a food menu, but the kitchen was closed when I was there. Definitely worth a visit.“
