“Just off downtown in a quiet office-y area. Super quiet on a weekday, quiet town worth a stop. Big, old belly of a mattress store transformed with a gorgeous wood slat ceiling, iron supports. Wide open 100'x 20'-ish hall, tables scattered, bar in the back, everything they have for bottle pours, or a long walk through flight, plus six carbed taps. Classic rock & oldies on the overhead speakers, owners & staff are a little older with heavy north east accents. One of the owners hovers hard & waves obvious hand signals to the bar, or just jumps in herself like they can't handle it. Heavy tourist trap from observing. Kinda gaudy second room & double unisex bathrooms & a street view patio. Maybe too much space, but the main space looks nice. Felt kinda sad the place was so empty. Its hard to design a cultured look without any real mascot or identity. The mead is legit good. They let it leak that they use concentrate, but it's the pricey stuff. Meads are aged 2-3yrs. Out of the way, but worth the visit. Walkthrough mead flight is cheap & informative.“
