70 /100 313 FOX HILLS PARKWAY N Huge place, tons of parking. Serving bar and a lot of restaurant tables and TV screens. Patio is nice, couches and tables, fire pit. Flights of four available, beers are OK. Food is tasty enough. Not many other options in the area. |
68 /100 313 FOX HILLS PARKWAY N Vibe is very much a family restaurant / sports with screens everywhere. The beers were all pretty solid, with flights available. Food was fine. There's not really any alternative options in Watford City, but this one option is pretty good. |
82 /100 313 FOX HILLS PARKWAY N Stopped in after visiting T Roosevelt NP. A couple local fellas started a really nice brewpub in 2017, located a bit from downtown by the HS, in a building with a bank and another restaurant. Brewing on site. Good food, nice place newer. Staff were very nice. Beer was good. Had a good pils, a very nice malty scotch ale with a bit of smoke at the end and a good rye ipa. Really good beer stop, they have carry out beer as well. |
12 /100 Outsiders Bar & Grill (Restaurant) 905 3RD AVE SW less spit in my food really |
50 /100 Outsiders Bar & Grill (Restaurant) 905 3RD AVE SW Biker feeling to the place, and always a lot of oil workers, so the feel is a bit rough, but not bad. Service really varies depending on waitress and how busy it is. About 6 taps, half micros, and a lot of bottles, but only about 10 or so micros. Prices are good. Food is good as well. Overall, not a place to stop if you are looking for some new bars, but if you have been working all day, great place to have a couple of beers. |
66 /100 Outlaws Bar & Grill (Restaurant) 120 N MAIN ST. Good ambiance, but definitely a restaurant more than a bar. Service is very good, but they do not know too much about the beer they have. Good number of micros on tap, and they rotate out pretty often. Also, they try to keep a local focus on the taps out. Bottles are pretty standard. Food is excellent, had fish and chips. Beer prices are ridiculous, most micros are $5, weather on tap or bottle. Overall, best place for getting a beer at a bar in town from what I have seen. Very friendly staff. |
58 /100 Cash Wise - Watford City (Grocery Store) 113 6TH AVE SE, #5100 Nothing special about the ambiance, I had no service to speak of either. Selection is notable though, especially for the area. Surprisingly, a lot from Utah, plenty of New Belgium and Sierra Nevada, bombers from Green Flash, and of course, Bell’s. Best thing is they do singles and mixed six-packs. Value was good. Overall, nothing special overall, but for the area, it is an oasis. |
70 /100 Cash Wise - Watford City (Grocery Store) 113 6TH AVE SE, #5100 New Cash Wise in Watford City, opened fall 2013. Nice and clean, inside and out. Wide aisles. Beer selection is everything Williston gets, but they have more room to display it. 90% was kept in the coolers. The single shelf was pretty weak, but at least it’s an option. No bombers or 750’s. I didn’t notice any imports, so I guess the Williston store does have more selection… prices appeared the same. Friendly service and convenient access if you’re in this neck of the woods. |
