“Lots of different beer options in an industrial warehouse space with brewing equipment in the background. The plaza also includes a distillery and a few other shops. There is food onsite as well.“

“Came here the first time on 16.3.2018. Typical PA beer distributor, located close to Carlisle Pike. Beer offering is average: a lot of mainstream, some large US microbreweries (Stone, 21st Amnedment, ..), a few Belgium beers (Duchesse!) and a small range of German beers. Highlight for an Austrian is the Stiegl Grapfruit Radler. Unfortunately a lot of beers you can only buy in cases, no six-packs. No beer bar inside. Not bad, but nothing special.“

“Came here on 3.3.2018. Definitely this location is better than the one in downtown. They have 50 beers (less than downtown) but the tapping quality is better. Nice sour beer selection. Had the Le Seul VIII Blood Orange Sour from Une Annee Brewing and the Liquid Truth Serum IPA from Dogfish. Food and service are ok. Will come back.“

“Like a lot of PA beer distributors, it looks like it's been untouched since the early 90's. Pretty big place that now has a couple of aisles with sixers and a small bomber selection. Unfortunately most of their rather large selection is still only available bu the case which doesn't make it very practical for most beer geeks.“

“Located in a complex with a couple of restaurants with plenty of parking. It's a pretty big room with a long bar. They had 3-4 large tv's with the NFL Sunday Ticket package. They have a open window to the restaurant next door to open beer. They had 11-12 beers on during my visit which ranged from solid to pretty good.“

“Came here the first time 23.7.2017. Located in Camp Hill, 3 miles from Harrisburg down town. A very large place, a restaurant area and 2 bars. Only visited the small bar at the main road entrance. Oval bar with 4 TV screens. Was very busy on a Sunday around 4 pm. 25 beers on tap (very good selection of US craft beers and 2-3 European choices). More than 100 bottles. Some good deals for food and also for beers: all Troegs pints for 3$ on a Sunday, Ballast Point on a Friday and Victory on a Thursday. Very large food menu ranging from vegetarian to burgers also some Asian choices. I had a salmon sandwich which was quite ok. Service was attentive and friendly. Overall a good place to spend a Sunday afternoon to watch some sports and enjoy some good craft beers. Since one year they have a small brewery under the roof. Normally they serve 2 beers in the pub. Rotating all the time.“

“Nice place. Located in a former car dealer so the block walls reverberate a lot of sound - they could use some wall hangings to dampen this. A few smaller tables are farther away from the bar and taller banquet tables separate the eating area from the bar area. Long bar (maybe 30?) with a short "L" section. Full exposure to brewing facilities. Table tennis and corn hole along with some over sized Connect 4-style table games. A few large TVs playing sports hang above the bar area. Kid friendly. Have not seen less than 10 beers on tap - I rarely have seen something gone and when it is, it’s temporary. Lots of standing room. One of the few places I’ve seen that fills growlers/crowlers with nitrogen first. A restaurant is connected but separate as far as orders and pay. Haven’t eaten there but have heard mixed reviews. Clean place with a friendly staff. Have not had any issues - recommended!“

“We came here on 12th of April 2017. Large open brewery with a long bar in front of the brewhouse and the fermentation kettles. Beers (13 beers on tap) and food both were quite good. 3 TV’s showing sport events. Watched the sad game Dortmund against Monaco a day after the terroristic attack. Overall not on Troegs level but still very recommendable. Between 2018 and 2019 the beer quality improved significantly and Evergrain has become Harrisburg‘s No1 brewery !“

“I thought Tennessee beer laws were fooked, but wow! I specifically rented a car and drove 8 hours to PA (instead of flying, when my company would pay for either) so as to get a good sampling of the great PA craft beer loaded up in my trunk. Little did I know you have to buy a fookin case of anything unless your in a bar or brewery. I passed on the whole expedition, as I didna wan ta be saddled with the possibility of 24 Erie Brewing type beers, if you know what i mean.“

“Swung by the place some time ago while in the area. Very impressive beer selection, but to this out-of-stater a drag only by the case (I blame PA not the store though). Warehouse setting, friendly service. If you know you really like a beer you can find it here.“

“Very cool store just off 581. They boast the largest selection in central PA and I have no trouble believing them. Lots of great stuff here, lost abbey, ale smith, cool imports very nice. The beer I saw wasn’t always fresh though so check dates (no problems for the stuff that sells but the expensive stuff seemed old - not really surprising when you have to buy beer by the case). The staff was friendly and helpful. Very cool place. Their ID scanner works with Canadian IDs too.“

“An average dumpy diner with the afterthought of a bar attached to it. This place used to be the Iron Skillet, a family style restaurant. Then was sold to the current owners, that turned it into a bar. From the first week of opening I've been there about 6 times for food over the course of the Brewhouse being open. The service has varied from reasonable to complete $#!*. The food as always been terrible and over priced, but I hear people talk about how good it is. I dunno... I dont believe my expectations are outrageous. Hot food should be hot, and not take 40+ minutes for pretty much anything. Or 20 minutes after I order tell me they're out of what I ordered. Or what had to be the crappiest cheeseburger I've had in a while. The only redeeming thing this place has going is the beer selection. It's a bit expensive, but they finally started charging 6er pricing if you buy 6 to go. I'd rather go to Wegmans or Westies for beer, so I haven't been bask to the Brewhouse for about 9 months, but I doubt it's changed. I give this place a big ol' thumbs down.“

“I have been to the Brewhouse lots of time since it is one of my moms favorite places to eat, as well as mine. The atmosphere is pretty good, just depends on where you are sitting. The inside area has a nice sized dining room with a medium sized attached bar area with a good amount of seating around it. The deck has a large seating area and an indoor/outdoor bar area. Both the inside and outside areas have lots of TV’s and music playing to keep you entertained. The quality has always been good. They serve most of the beers in the right type of glassware but every now and then you may get one in the wrong glass, mostly when a newer person serves it up. The food quality has always been good as well, with the ingredients always being fresh and flavorful. The service has always been pretty good but at times it can be a bit hit or miss. I have been in here when it gets a little crowded and we had to wait for quite some time to get our drinks refilled. In the past few years they have really stepped up their selection. You won’t find anything too "rare" on every given day but every now and then you might find a keg of KBS or something along those lines popping up here. On my last visit I had a Green Flash west coast IPA and, since they were having a Troegs event, a cask dead reckoning. The prices are pretty good across the board with only a few beers being overpriced. The real reason I like to come here is the food. I could eat their fries all day, every day. I usually get a burger or a club sandwich and both are excellent. I have also had quite a few other things on the menu but those two are by far my favorites. Overall, if you are in the area and looking for a laid back place to have some good food and good beer, you should give this place a try.“

“Can’t believe I am the first to rate this place. Brew House has a nice selection of beers. It is not as wide a selection as some places, but between the taps and the bottle offerings, you’ll never have a problem finding something very, very good to try and they rotate their offerings enough that you can usually find something new to try each time you visit. The food is pretty good. My only complaint is that when I have been there, the waitresses I have had were not very knowledgeable about the beers. Also, they have no printed bottles list. Not cool being out to dinner with the wife and having to wade through the crowd at the bar to look in the cooler in the far corner to see what they had. Still, this has become one of our favorite places for a bite and a beer after our kids’ ballgames.“

“Since I have lived in this area my entire life I am very familiar with Westy’s. Having just noticed that I hadn’t yet reviewed them I set out to rectify that situation immediately. I stopped in earlier today to pick up a case of beer for this weekends festivities and I spent a little extra time looking around. Simply put, you are not going to find a better selection of cases and kegs within an hour or so drive. Everything from Cigar City, Lost Abbey, The Bruery, and even a bunch of Belgians. They even offer quite a few "rarer" kegs for take out purchase. Not every day you see four different kinds of Bruery beers available in kegs to the general public. The quality has been greatly improved over the last few years. I remember when I first got into craft beer I bought a case of 90min. from Westy’s and it was four months past its "Best By" date. I understand it is my bad for not noticing when I bought it but at least check them every three months. Swing back to today and I noticed none of those problems. Everything was fresh and well within its "Best By" dates so kudo’s to them for stepping it up. As far as the atmosphere and the service go, it is pretty good. On one occasion you may seem them act like total jerks to people and on the next they are the nicest guys on the planet. I have always had good experiences with them but I know a few others who would say otherwise. Overall Westy’s is a great beer distributor with one of the best selections I have come across. I am glad they are so close by, even tho I don’t buy very much beer by the case.“

“The dinning area is lame and boring. The food was great, and they had some different brews that normal places did not have. My wife and I both liked it. I would have rated it higher but the building from the out side is bit dumpy, and again thr dinning area lacks luster.“

“This was a very nice beer distributer. They had a great selection of cases and some that i had never heard of. They housed most of the local beers, Troegs, App Brewing, Stoudts. I picked up a variety case of Two Brothers. I will go back when I am in the area for an extended amount of time again.“

“This is a good size place that fills every available nook with great high quality microbrews. They represent the Euros very well along with the American micros. Bells,Victory, Troegs, Port Brewing, Weyerbacher, South Hampton, De Dolle, St. Bernardus, Dogfish Head, Ballst Point, Great Divide, Avery, Ommegang, Stone and many other great breweries were available when I was there. Even though you must purchase a case due to Pennsylvanias bass akward laws, the prices are reasonable (49.99 for a case of 12oz. Oaked Arrogant Bastard). I spoke with four different guys while I was there and all four were friendly and knowledgable about their inventory, while one of them also seemed to be an avid beer guy who knew his stuff. Great shop if you can buy the cases.“

“Great, local beer distributor not far from PA 581. BIg selection, as far as PA distributors go, anything from cases of St. Bernardus, DFH WWS, random German lagers, to Iron City and Yuengling. All of the PA micros, as well; Appalachian, Troegs, Victory, Weyerbacher... and they have MOXIE! Worth a stop if you’re in the west shore area.“

“Bar can be found not far from the Highland Park exit on US 15 in Camp Hill. Definitely has a neighborhood bar feel, close quarters in the bar area. Around 10 TV’s near the bar, as well. I visited on a Saturday, all were showing college football, which is a good thing. Tap selection is mostly micro’s, Victory, Green Flash, Big Bear... all high quality. Looks like a large bottle selection, as well. Worth stopping by if you’re in the area.“

“I left the night very dissapointed. The night started off with excitement after looking at their beer list. Then after being told my first two selections weren’t available, I settled on a Victory Whirlwind to go with dinner. Dinner was pretty good and was probably the highlight of the night. We later moved to the bar, where yet again, two more choices from the beer menu were not availabe. Finally I asked about the Bell’s Best Brown Ale that the were advertising on tap. The bartender told me they had it. Well, even though that is what the tap said, I ended up with a Hopslam in my glass. I may give this place a try again, but I should have gone to ABC, I know what to expect there at least.“
