“located halfway between Annville and Hershey, this seems to be one of the few places that stays open late on the weekend. Pretty massive on the inside split between a restaurant portion and a massive bar area with a number of flat screen tvs. Didn't have any of the food. Lots of taps with national craft. Not a lot of local nor a lot of things of interest,. I was struggling to find things I hadn't had before. Also the prices aren't listed on the beer list which is very annoying. More of a convenience place than a destination one.“

ambiance: Standalone joint near Hersey Park. Nice fireplace and it looked slightly upscale. But the tables and booth seats were on the sticky side. service: Waiter was nice enough, but she was pretty slow, and forgot a couple items and had to come back several times because of it, which leads into... selection: Seemed awesome--dozens and dozens of drafts, including many local PA items. That said, at least four of the ones I tried to order turned out to have kicked. My wife ordered a Sour Golden Monkey, and they brought her a regular Golden Monkey instead without notifying of the substitution (easily discovered, as it wasn’t...you know...sour). food: Decent to slightly below average. Not memorable. value: Fine. Didn’t stand out one way or the other. overall: I’d try it again, because maybe they were just having an off night. If so, will revise.“

“This restaurant is a few minutes outside of Hershey. So if you’re in town to visit HersheyPark or to do sightseeing, this is most likely the best place to go. The beer selection here is outstanding. The food, however, leaves a lot to be desired. The buffalo chicken cheesesteak I had was decent, but the pulled pork sandwich my wife ordered wasn’t. It looked like a combination of throw-up and refried beans. Evidentially the burger my brother-in-law had was good. The kid’s mac and cheese looked like it was store-bought, right out of the box. But again, the beer on draft is great. I had three new beers here that I hadn’t had before. I enjoyed all three, a Sierra Nevada IPA, a Deschutes APA and a wheat wine from Smuttynose. My wife also enjoyed a Pumpking from Southern Tier. They had a bunch of local beers on draft, especially Troegs who brew in Hershey. The service was excellent. The ambiance was a little confusing. The tables and booths reminded me of a cheap diner, but the stone walls and dark wooden hostess table and bar gave it more of an upscale feeling. I would definitely consider going back to Funck’s.“
