“Nice place, but not sure what is supposed to be. Lots of games-arcade etc. Only 5 of their beers on tap, but lots of other brands as well Sort of a hybrid micro. Waitress provided great service. Sampler was tremendously overpriced. Beer was good, but not great. Food was adequate.“

“This place is difficult to judge. If I base it on being a brewpub/brewery it fails. They only have a couple (2 or 3) "locally brewed" beers and I don’t recall what they were. The one that sounded interesting they were out of. The others didn’t sound too tempting. The waiter described one as like Yuengling. Not being a huge fan of Yuengling I tried it anyway and it did taste like it (I wouldn’t be surprised if it was). But their bottle selection is very good so as a beer bar it gets good marks. The food and service were also very good. I only stopped in once while on vacation in the area but the place is quite large with an outside deck and a sushi bar (I think). If I’m in the area again I would like more time to check out the place. Overall though I’d say it’s still worth a stop. This is a case of where the whole measures up more than just the sum of its parts“

“I think someone should challenge them for the false advertising in their name. I was told to leave the last time I went. I was with a group of people who spent a lot of money and food and drinks. Because the comedians started, we were told we had to pay extra to stay. For the record, I live nearby and know this place well. They usually have a few micros on tap but nothing extravagant unless you consider Stone IPA exotic. The tap lines aren’t always the cleanest either. Service is very sporadic. The staff aren’t knowledgeable about beer. You can buy Ommegang or Brooklyn Local bombers but will pay close to $20. I ended up spending a pretty penny on Chimay Rouge. Their bottle prices actually make Cooper’s look cheap. Try Wegman’s instead or Floods in Stroudsburg. We used to go here when Barley Creek had a one hour wait in the winter time. If Sanofi Pasteur wasn’t down the road as well as Mt. Airy, hmmmmm.“

“The selection is incredible. They have more than 100 beers, 35 or so on draft. The services wasn’t to bad, but the menu is only appetizers after 9. Ball and Chain is has a good taste, but with all those beers available it was hard to stick to just their brews.“

“Just got back from Pocono Brewing Company. Building is quite nice but the inside is nothing amazing. Not much to do with brewing at all, just one take in the front of the building which I dont even know if it works or not. Only had 3 of their own beers on tap, which I dont even know if they are made there. I was looking to buy a pint glass but when my beer was not served in a PBC glass I figured they did not sell them. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. Pretty good place, I just wish they had more house beers to try.“

“I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet. I’ve been coming here with my family since the day it opened. The problem with this place is that the food is very inconsistent from visit to visit and the menu has completely changed several times in the last few years. I much prefer eating in the dining room, as the front area gets very smokey. The beer selection has likewise varied from time to time as well. Right now, they looked to have around 30 beers or so on tap and a decent selection of bottled brews too. If you are a beer geek, there’s probably nothing you haven’t tried, but at least there is a good variety of alternatives to BMC. As others have said, they do not brew on premises. Their beers are contract brewed.“

“No, they do not actually brew their own beer... but they do have a few of their own that are contract brewed elsewhere. Ive only had the ball and chain lager, its not bad. As for the selection, your not gonna find a better one in the area. They have beamish on tap (one of my favorites) so thats nice. They have a back deck thats open in the summer with a band, pretty cool. I go here whenever I get home, good place to drink on a friday night. If your looking for some microbrews, head down the road to Barley Creek Brewing Company. Its like 3 minutes away and they actually brew their own stuff.“

“Been here a few times over the years, most recently last weekend. The place name is very deceptive because they don’t actually brew beer here. The only micros were some draft Barley Creek offerings. The rest was a decent sized beer list, but Rogue was the only offering worth mentioning. The food was decent, nothing to write home about, as I got a cheesesteak that was so greasy I couldn’t finish it one time and a passable turkey club another time. Service was pretty slow, and the wait for beers is longer than what I consider acceptable. I probably will not return here.“

“Stopped by here on my way to Mt. Pocono. Huge signs - Ladies Night Wednesdays and huge signs for Mail Strippers from Austraillia on Wednesday Night (thank God I went on a Thursday afternoon!). Typical sports bar look and feel inside. 100 or so beers but 99% of them macros (they even have 3 flavors of Zima!). Only 2 house brewed beers on tap. Food was typical pub grub. Waitress disapperared for a little while on us too.“
