“Located on the southern side of the city. Their beer selection is quite nice with mostly local and regional offerings along with the usual macro beers. Not bad considering where you are.“

“Big restaurant in downtown Clarksville. Dim, friendly ambiance. The waiters were friendly and quick. The beer list is pretty thin, with five regulars and three seasonals. What I tried was pretty poor. Good prices, and delicious food. Worth a visit, if you're in the area, but not a great spot.“

“Nice shabby chic setup. Fine selection of their own beer (and a full bar besides). Service was OK--seemed to be mostly college chicks and by no means the beer geeks you typically find at a place like this. Cajun pasta was the best meal I’ve had in my week here (but the bar wasn’t exactly set very high). I think the locals will find this place pricey, but for a visitor from the east coast it’s a great value.“

“Only serve beers from their brewery, but had a good selection of beer styles. Pizza is very good and, again, a good selection. Service was a bit slow and lacking in knowledge. Beer flights available.“

“Felt I should add this place, as Old Chicago Clarksville was already in the database, and this one is just as good a beer choice if you have to be in the area. It’s a Scottish-themed Hooters concept, except the food is decent and there are maybe 8 reasonable craft beer choices. Our server was excellent, but she was a new out-of-towner and smart and probably will be working at a better place next week.“

“This upfront: I didn’t add this place to the database, but it was sittin’ there with no ratings so I did my part. Had to go here with coworkers. It’s a newer place in this pizza chain which I hadn’t imbibed at in many years. It’s very similar to the Pizzeria Uno chain, but seems to have edged ahead of them in quality and the newness of the building for the time being, at least in these parts. Kid friendly with lots of TVs, open seating and plenty of family background noise. Pizza is good but a little pricey for what it is. Beer menu has a moderate selection of rotating regionals which is above average for the Clarksville area, but nothing to go out of your way for. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive which was surprising for an establishment such as this.“

“This place has an old, classic restaurant/brewpub feel. Not much emphasis on the bar aspect. We had some chips and beer cheese to share which was decent. Service was really good during dinnertime. I thoroughly enjoyed the stout, however the pale ale was the only other viable option amid a selection of fruit and light beers and it was not exceptionally tasty. In the end I was definitely happy to have this place in sleepy Clarksville.“

“Didn’t eat. Beer prices were fair. Sample set included the seasonal which was nice. Place appears to try to introduce some beer to folks in Clarksville but I didn’t see anything else craft on their menu besides their own beers. Okay.“

“Visits in Jan and May ’11 (and used to come here often when it was C’ville pub back in the early 90s). Ambiance is good but nothing special. The only interesting selections are their own brews, which are pretty average. Food is pretty standard pub fare and service is good but not very knowledgeable. I’ll probably come back because it’s about the only place to get decent beer in Clarksville, but couldn’t recommend it to a serious pub adventurer.“

“I stopped by the Blackhorse Pub & Brewery the first time, as the pizza was rated best in the area. Which I can agree with. The rest of their menu is not bad either. It is a very comfortable pub in the downtown area of Clarksville. Parking can be a challange at times. They have a good selections of beers on tap. I enjoyed the Barnstormer Red & Coal Miner Stout best. The bartenders & servers are friendly and seem to be very knowledgable on the brews. Great place to relax, enjoy a brew and share a conversation. I make an effort to stop by when ever I am in the area working. “

“Had a great patty melt, helped my drunk ass back to recovery. Sampled all their beers after a long day, but even with a busted palate they didn’t seem so good... Relatively out of the way but if you are in historic Clarksville, it might be a nice stop. It was packed which I like to see.“

“Decent place. Nice decor, looked clean and inviting, service was average. Ordered the sampler, the stout was decent, the rest seemed subpar. I didn’t try the food myself, but the family says the food is very good, and the dishes I saw looked pretty good. Not a bad place in a town with few good beer options.“

“A decent brewpub. The beer, in my opinion, wasn’t that interesting. Really good beer-cheese soup.“

“When I was stationed at Fort Campbell and before my rating days, my friends and I used to frequent this place to get away from all the macro bars. I was at the base this weekend and decided to slide in for a few drafts and a meal. A quiet Saturday afternoon so it was not that crowded. Just a bunch of people catching collage football on the many TV’s, low noise, and good music. The bar area is not huge but has that old Irish feel to it. Very relaxing and comfortable. Large seating area for food. Up stairs there is a large room with another bar that can be rented out for parties. On this visit they had 7 on tap, 5 regulars and 2 seasonals. Nothing super special about their beer. They do offer growlers, 1/4 and 1/2 barrel kegs to go. Large food menu with reasonable pricing. Service was good and knowledgeable.“
