80 /100 16 JACKSON WALK PLAZA Stopped in on route to St Louis. A family type of pizza joint, sports bar type of place. Decent selection of their own beer and nice crowlers. Really friendly server she was terrific. Beer was decent had a NEIPA and food was pretty good. |
80 /100 16 JACKSON WALK PLAZA A surprise find in the only city between Nashville and Memphis. 8 of their own brews on tap, plus 10 others. No flights, but they freely give 1 ounce samples of everything. Pizza is great, but be careful - the sizes are much larger than the name implies. Our medium was enough for four people. The beer is good, sometimes very good, but all is serviceable. Good place to visit kif you are passing by. |
72 /100 Party Mart Liquors & Wines Inc (Beer Store) 2841 HIGHWAY 45 BYP # US Visited while staying in Jackson for business. They have 8 beers on tap for 32 oz or 64 oz growler pours. Beers on tap included multiples by Founders and Sweetwater as well as Oscar Blues. Beer selection is about as good as you can get in Jackson, but not too impressive. All the beers in 4-packs and 6-packs can be mix and matched to make custom 6-packs, and a decent bomber selection. Worth checking out if you’re in the area, the selection isn’t great, but its probably as good as you’ll get in the area. Plus they have growler fills, which is a pretty nice touch. |
56 /100 The Forked Vine Wine & Spirits (Beer Store) 621-A2 OLD HICKORY BLVD. Seems to be one of the best beer stores in Jackson. Small area for beer, with typical offerings like Stone, Chimay, Rogue, etc. Service wasn’t knowledgable about beer when I went. |
