“This place is great. Far away from Houston but worth the drive. I've never seen a place that blends their beers like they do. They have a separate beer menu made up of existing beers mixed together to bring out other flavors. Aside from that they had about 20 taps, some were excellent.“

“Surprised I had to enter this one. Smallish place in a strip mall. 39 taps, although a half dozen or so were empty when I was there. 4 oz pours individually priced. Crowlers of many available. Very heavy TX brewery focus; no whales in sight. This is also a beer store, with perhaps 200 bottles and cans, again, TX focused. Good service.“

“Last stop. This place was hopping. They were doing a trivia night thing which was obviously popular because there was hardly a place to sit inside. Flights of four available, which were generally pretty solid, but holy hell don’t order the Persnickity Wheat beer - what an abomonation. Surprised that has survived amidst what is otherwise pretty good quality.“

“Bigger beer selection than I expected. Which is a wonderful thing. But service is very slow. Food is good.“

“Thank god, finally something to backfill for the fact that Boondoggles is going down the shit chute! This is a relatively tiny place, with a few outside tables. Inside things are hopping, with a really nice taplist and a row of coolers behind the bar with bottles for on-site consumption. All in all a fun place and a real plus up in the NASA parkway area.“

“Great hidden gem! Tasty food and fantastic beer selection -- both bottled and on tap. Staff is quite knowledgeable about their beer and helpful in making suggestions. Wish there were a few more food options -- but what they do have is delicious.“

“This is a very small bar with limited bar space and few tables. Oh, and what’s with the tree trunk tables? They do have an excellent selection of craft and local beers on tap and a huge bottle selection. The taps are constantly rotating and you can find out what’s on tap on their Facebook page. Food is unique Vietnamese style. Staff is very knowledgeable about beer. They sell growlers In two sizes. This is about the only place in the Clear Lake area to go for great beer so it gets a bump in my overall rating. It’s a great place to stop on your way to or from the Kemah Boardwalk.“

“Small venue so arrive early for prime seating. Two tvs with no sound mainly for games. Food is all Vietnamese and made to order. They are big on eggs, just try it (thank me later). Prices all very and stock rotates but the chalk board is always current and up to date. Only 3 sizes. 16oz. 13.5oz. 9oz. And bottles.“

“Visited twice on different days of the week and at different times. The Clear Lake area has really needed a place like this -- Boondoggles has only very limited craft brews. I knew this place was going to be small, and indeed it is. The beer selection and rotation is excellent, as is the upscale Vietnamese pub food. Try the pork fries and, and actually, anything with pork. They finally remodeled to add sound-deadening material, so now you can actually hear the person next to you. MUCH more pleasant than a month ago. The place is nearly always packed, and for good reason. One of my favorite regular watering holes.“

“A craft beer oasis in the middle of a pretty big desert here south of Houston. Huge selection, both on-tap and bottles, including many beers I’m not sure can be had elsewhere in this area. The food menu is somewhat limited - a few appetizers, a few sandwiches, a few noodle and fried rice dishes - but quality is excellent. It’s a rather smallish place with maybe 15 or so tables.“

“great new place that just opened in the Clear Lake area, and hell- we needed a craft beer place! very nice affordable food. impressive tap wall (real ale bourbon 15th for one example, also a dedicated sour tap). a cask beer engine. growler fills (32+64oz). very friendly staff. good location for locals and if you’re coming from the freeway. an all around great place to spend a few hours. my new hangout!“

“Very loud but great selection of beers. For the rest a typical American modern restaurant (201205)“

“Definitely not one of their flagship locations but decent, and compared to other liquor stores in Houston, real good! .. . medium sized beer department, mostly coolers but a small section of warm bombers and such, but nothing specialized really .. good for a stop in quick and grab a micro sixer but go to the Clear Lake or Downtown location for the real deal!“

“Typical BJs atmosphere with the typical Texas selection. It’s not the best brewer out there, but it’s not bad. The burgers are good. Had the Bock here.“

“this place can be hit or miss, sometimes its really awesome, then sometimes the people there suck eggs! ...To bad they don’t brew there anymore, but there is a big bad thing about the clear lake location....they never have a special brew there(bj brands) its always been the popular 7 beers and that it...so they really don’t give a damn at all, but the pizza is good, and the tatonka is roasty and powerful..and a real decent belgian beer list...but again , some of the beers are never in...but they served my lambic in the right glass so i was tickled at that...so like i said, its hit or miss...overall...a great place to just stop by, eat a good pizza, enjoy a bj beer or two, finish with a good belgian, have a badass brownie, than go home and sleep!!! ..bottle selection has dwindled a bit, still ok in my books..“

“Beer is good. Food is good. Service varies depending on which crew is working. Some nights its awesome. Some nights are, well... They have BJ’s brews with standards and rotating seasonals. Also, the brewmaster releases his own creations and some casks. They used to do a themed tasting night once a month. I do not know if this still occurs. Several Belgians, locals and Americans are available. Many TVs with sports. Great place for locals to make a regular hang out. Try the Pook’s Pilsner for a regular drink or try them all. The Clear Lake location brews for the other Houston locations. Side note, this has better selection than a Rock Bottom but the quality is not quite as good.“
