“Well, as it happened, we missed the tasting at the brewery - which was disappointing (especially for Per), but also a happy circumstance to an extent, as we would have otherwise missed this place, of course, with Öbrygd beers! Lovely little restaurant in Garphamnen, the harbor named of course after the Marine Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp (yeah, no, not really), with a patio looking roughly towards where a Soviet submarine once accidentally got stuck on a reef while completely accidentally ending up in a sensitive military area, hah. The service was excellent, the people were really friendly, and the chefs seem to enjoy what they are doing - and it showed with the food, very nice fish & chips! The beer selection isn't thrilling past the Öbrygd stuff, but the prices are fair, and two out of three locally brewed beers were excellent! A nice little hidden gem well worth visiting if in the area!“
