Great selection of domestic craft beer and again, good selection of the local ones and as usual easy to find as they are marked with "local" selection on the shelves. Convenient location next to the main road, so it's easy to drop by if passing by. Well worth checking out.“ |

Many were enjoying a meal at the spacious and nice patio in front. Pleasing pop and rock music played. Mostly Swedish bands and artists early in the evening, more international selection later. First I found a table inside by the bar. Tap and bottled menu at Untappd but also in a beer menu at the table. A flight, 3 x 15 cl, is a nice offer. There are now 21 taps and about 160 bottles and cans. "My" barman was a friendly young man with passion for craft beer. He seems to know his customers and suggested to make a bar tab for me. Off course! Later my wife also arrived and we found a table outside on the partly covered patio. She also liked this place and appreciate a well crafted beer, as long it's not dark or too strong. I enjoyed a big bottle "Uinta Crooked Line Labyrinth Black Ale" alone. Also a new US state for me, Melvin Brewing from Wyoming. A new Swedish brewery on tap, Illbatting Brewing, I had to add at RateBeer. Again, a great pub and restaurant! (Visited July 21st 2018 with my wife)“ |

Lots of beers from US and UK most of us have seen before. I spotted a new brewery for me on tap, Yards Brewing Company. Boring beer, Philadelphia Pale Ale. Friendly service but few visitors this nice, early Saturday evening. Not a place to stay for a lone drinker. (Visited July 21st 2018)“ |

Found local bottles, payed and returned to my car in not more than 10 minutes. Great! I made it after driving as hell from Birsta outside Sundsvall. I was really eager to get bottles from local breweries in and around Gävle. I purchased all bottles from Hopsie Daisy, a lot from Jädraås and some from Helsinge. (Visited July 21st 2018)“ |

Less people than I’d expect for a BA in this size of city a Sat evening after payday. Had just had a tap takeover from Jädraöl, so unusually many beers on tap from that brewery. Bottled selection fair. Service OK. Expensive even for a BA! Smallish beer at 71 SEK. I’d rather cross the street to Södra if in town again.“ |

The place to go in Gävle if you want to try any Swedish micros on tap (only guest taps though), and a nice selection of bottled beers. The staff is friendly (although the knowledge really depends on who’s working) and the food is pretty good. If you’re in town and want to go out for a good beer and be able to talk to your company, I’d say this is the place to go.“ |
