“I am constantly amazed when brewers do amazing things on small systems, in case a one barrel system just a small step up from a homebrew kit. OK, they have horizontal fermenters too. Tiny tiny shack next to a corner Mobil station - the car ahead of me and I both drove right past it and had to turn around. So glad we did. That guy cleaned out the entire cooler of beer and made his three kids carry it - he even qualified for the "spend $100 and get a free T-shirt" offer. I thought it was strange until I tasted their beer, then I pretty much did the same. Inside is just a serving counter and a few barstools scattered around some makeshift countertops, in the same room as said brewhouse and fermentation vessels. Every beer was delicious, with a standout maple doppelsticke head and shoulders above the rest. They were supposed to enter new premises but the pandemic delayed things - they'll still have just a five barrel system, though, so your best bet is to come here rather than to try to find their stuff around Burlington. So worth the trip. They also have a nice view of the lake past the Mobil station and a small but decent picnic area under some shade trees. Food is pretzel bites with mustard. Worth going well out of your way to come here.“

“Yes, it's a gas station. But the beer selection is better than most, with an entire wall of coolers of craft beer, including beers from Kraemer & Kin, which I visited just beforehand. Otherwise unremarkable.“

“Going camping out by the Islands, are you? Have no fear, well, somewhat, you won’t find Heady Topper or S.O.S. here, but this solid convenience type store has kick ass hot dogs, not sure why, but every time I have one, they’re always so damn good. Their beer selection has Queen City, Rock Art, Long Trail, Otter Creek, Maine Beer Company with big names such as Sierra Nevada, Rogue and then some BMC stuff. If you’re in the area, and going to the islands, maybe to camp or something, it’s a decent stop. Not really a beer destination.“
