“Located on the islands of central Eskilstuna, it's treated here as a 2-in-one, or 3-in-one place. You have the main, central brewpub, a classic, pleasant, cozy place, then you have the Slussvaktarn, their summer pub just across the bridge, and then you have the Ölcontainern which is literally a "container" with some 15? beers on tap right next to it, that's temporarily there this year. The summer pub+the container were manned by a fine older gentleman, helpful. The brewpub itself was "closed" for a special occasion, guided tasting / ?food pairing? I guess, but the people were cool enough to let us get the beers and drink them on the tiny "patio" outside. Sadly, a bit rainy. The beers were meh to very good. Only 0.4 I guess, could be wrong. The container had a wide selection of craft stuff, the brewpub a wide selection of their own stuff + some guest beers (including a bretted graf). Do not remember it having wi-fi. All in all, a very good place to have in town.“

“English styled pub. Standard selection of taps, but with two fridges of craft beers, with one made especially for the pub by a local brewery. Located on the "pub"-street, close by Bishop Arms and a row of other pubs/restaurants makes it a good pitstop when going pubhopping.“

“Volunteers from the beer association working behind the bar, the brewing equipment partly out in the bar, a relaxed laid back environment. Have mostly their own beers, with some quest taps. Beers only sold in full glasses, but with the options to have them all in a five sample flight. Cozy place and Eskilstuna isn't exactly spoiled with good beer places.“

“Beläget intill Eskilstunaån ligger detta vattenhål för törstande ölsjälar. Bryggpuben är numera öppen för allmänheten. Förut gjorde sig endast medlemmar besvär. Ett urval av deras egna brygder, bryggverket står i lokalen, finns på kran. Resterande brygder finns på flaska, beroende på säsong. Nytt är även köksdelen. En ung och duktig kock fräser ihop ett urval av för, huvud och efterrätter. Råvarorna kommer från utvald närproducenter, beröm för det. Maten är prisvärd, ex. hamburgertallrik för 120kr. Kvällens överraskning var 1 kg vinkokta musslor för 150kr. Ölen är dock på tok för dyr för icke medlemmar. 85-100kr/flaskan. Med det ligger de högre än akkurat på vissa sorter. Kunderna var en blandad kompott. En del slog sig ner och avrundade veckan på sin laptop. Andra kom in för en lätt förvärmning innan det blev teaterbesök. Medelåldern var relativt hög. Bra initiativ att öppna upp för besökare men misstänker att detta har framtvingats av ett lågt medlemsantal och alltmer ökande föreningskostnader. Fler besökare gör att förväntningar ökar, vilket leder till högre krav på deras bygder. Hoppas det infriar detta. Bryggpub ligger inom pendelavstånd för Mälardalens invånare. Gör det bra öl kommer även ölälskarna.“

“Visited in 2012. They had a nice selection of bottled beers and suggestions to combine food and beer. When I look at their website now it doesn’t look as good. I’m hoping it’s just a poorly updated website. Nice food and nice beer overall. Not the widest selection though.“

“Visited in 2012. Just like any other Bishops pub. They prices are in the high end. However the prices where a bit better then in Örebro.“

“Visited several times in the last couple of years. A good place to score some Eskilstuna beer and easy to find if you are just driving through.“

“Visited several times in the last couple of years. This is the place to visit in Eskilstuna. They have their own beers on tap and some more breweries on bottles. The staff is actually volounteers so not professional bartenders. Friendly atmosphere. I know they have some catered food some days at very reasonable prices. They also have some 3,5% beers that you can buy and bring with you.“

“This Systembolag store stands out positively because here you can purchase beers from the local brewery, Eskilstuna Ölkultur. I found 7 beers from Eskilstuna and one from the local client brewer Green Tower Brewing. Nice and service minded staff, who seemed to appreciate my focus on local beers. (Visited June 25th 2014)“

“Why do I go here because this is the most draft beers in town. Knowledgeable staff. But the prices are far too expensive for beer. If you go to Royal Oak is 20 feet away from Bishop, you can get the same beer in bottle for 30 - 40 SEK cheaper. The food is okay. Quite expensive food when you get so little. “Maybe not so overly much to choose from. They want to drink beer on tap. But there is little bottle of beer too. The owners are right greedy. Some staff who work do not know anything about beer if you ask. Can take a long time to pour. But the place is cozy and the beer is good. “Small English pub with cheap Swedish lager beer but also two fridges with beer. Poor with selection on tap though. But I like the set and like to sit and have a beer here. “Visited on a open house day, generally requires a membership. The tap beers are the bewery’s own, the same goes for about half the bottles. The remaining bottles are of a good selection. The staff was quite slow, probabely because it was the brewing staff than manned the bar on the occation. Ambience was nice and calm, people go there to drink good beer and talk. No loud music etc.“

“As a store, it’s rather average in terms of most of the beers on offer. The main attraction of this store is the amount of beers on sale from the local brewery, Eskilstuna Ölkultur. The beers are normally around the 30kr mark so are a bit more expensive than the average beer on offer, but I believe that quality is worth paying for and the Eskilstuna beers always appear to be made with care and love and they’re often very tasty too.“
