Vinmonopolet Verdal (Beer Store)
AMFISENERET, JERNBANEGT. 11
“A small town Vinmonopolet bottle shop in a small shopping center. Not very good selection local beers but actually a decent selection special beers not often seen in other towns of this size. My local brewery Salikatt was present with some new releases. Very friendly and knowledgeable service. A nice surprise! (Visited July 26th 2021)“

“Best place for craft beer in Verdal. This is a brewery, pub, restaurant and local scene for music and other events. Situated at a farm just outside Verdal. The brewery is in the red barn. Also a small shop where you can purchase cans up to 4.7%. Only two different at my visit, but normally three or four. Brewpub upstairs with eight of their own beers on tap. I wish I could try their Imperial Stout and Barley Wine! My first plan was to stay at a hotel in Verdal and spend the evening at Fæby. But, it was a Jazz event going on this evening, with fine dinner and a rather pricey cover charge. I just wanted to try their beers. Maybe another time? Check out their website, facebook, call or send a SMS before visiting. Good service provided by Jørund, who I was in touch with, and the friendly chef who met me at the brewery. I place I will revist next time I drive past Verdal. (Visited June 27th 2020)“

Ørens Meieri (Restaurant)
JERNBANEGATA 11
“They had made their first own beer, a spicy one, however, it was not good enough to be served for guests, as I was informed when I visited the place. For the moment their beer menu consisted of four kinds of bottled beers from Inderøy Gårdsbryggeri, a Christmas offer on bottle from Jacobsen and Dahls Pils on tap. In one section of the place they sell local made cheese, jam and cured meats to take away, but no local beers yet. The place appears like a combination of a restaurant and an inn with interior of wood and brick. Food and service were okay. Ørens Meieri is located on the opposite side of the railway station in the same building as a Chinese restaurant. For the time being this newly established place is not a beer destination, but should be kept on the radar. Opening times and further information can be found on their facebook site (visited 19.11.2013).“
