“An ordinary Vinmonopolet store with limited beer selection. Good selection from the nearby brewery Små Vesen. (Visited August 3rd 2022)“

“Highly recommended place! Excellent selection both on tap and bottles Now also a brew pub. Only one of their own at my visit. But it is more to come Friendly and helpful brewer if you want a nice beer chat as well There is a lovely patio at the back. You do not see it when you enter the place Also a lot of concerts here. You will have no problems to find this place if you are at Beitostølen “

“Great place. Fantastic atmosphere. Great people behind the bar, a lot of knowlegde. The co-operation with brew dog is really valuable. Not about the money, but about quality“

“Without doubt the best option in this town for a decent range of beer, and general laid-back ambience with good indie/rock music and knowledgable helpful staff. Cosy yes, and their bottle range adorns the shelves behind which includes a selection from local-ish brewers as well as some from Bergen and Trondheim. About 5 on tap, probably 60-70 bottles I reckon. Prices I can’t comment on as everything is hideously expensive for me in this country. (£28 for 3 bottles? Yikes..). But for a small town like this it’s much more than I expected.“

“Easy to find Close to Beito Ysteri. Not that good selection, but it is far far away to next vinmonopol. The location on the rb map is wrong. It is located in Stølstunet Kjøpesenter“

“Cousy place and a decent selection. Probably the best place around. But Beito Ysteri do have their own beer if you prefer to get a new brewery tick. “

“Surprised to see one of these state-owned alcohol shops in Beitostolen. Fairly small beer selection as they try to cram in as much wine and spirits in to this little space as possible. Still, there’s enough here to keep you going with a half-decent range (for a foreigner like me anyway!) from established, unexciting Norwegian beers to small-batch craft as well as a couple of ciders from Hardanger. The shop assistant, noticing I was into cider, fetched a bottle of something she orders in for herself which was nice. Also expect one or two craft offerings from Iceland, Denmark and the UK as well as the ubiquitous Brewdog and Nogne O. Also note that it is closed 2 days of the week.“
