“We came here on 22.10.2023. Located close to Sandpiper Golf Club. Quite crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Live music in the patio. Beers are decent.“

“We came here on 20.10.2023. Nice large outside patio with some real hop plants decorated. We had a Saison which was quite good.“

“We came here on 20.10.2023. This brewery celebrated recently the 9th anniversary and is located very close to our favourite Golf Course in the Santa Barbara area Glenn Annie. Good mix of lagers and ales. The dry hopped Lager and the Hazy IPA we had were both just ok. The location and the patios are a bit unorganized.“

“Medium size space with a large outside area; 25 own beers on the day I visited; no small pours were available due to anniversary celebration“

“Draughtsmen is in an industrial area at the end of a cul-de-sac. Street parking available, although I can imagine it getting challenging at peak times. This actual place is open and airy, bar situated in the center of the action. Monday afternoon was locals time, I think I was the only person there who was not a regular. No flights, but they offer samples for 2-3$, which seems to be the norm for the area. I was trying to conserve my sobriety so I only tried two, but both were solid, and the session IPA was quite good. No food available, did not ask about food trucks. Love the name. Place to watch.“

“Brewery in a warehouse area in Goleta; just follow the beer signs when you are close and you will get there. Parking is no problem at all. Interesting warehouse space with a good amount of outdoor seating and a wide open interior. Typically there are food trucks outside, but not for lunch on a Monday, although they did have pizza available by the slice. Good number of taps available. No flights offered, but everything is available in sample pours for $3. The saisons I tried were not good at all, but the others seemed OK.“

“My GPS took me on kind of a weird way to get here, but it’s basically in an industrial park that’s sort of kitty-corner to the shopping center where Hollister is, but all the way in the back.

They have a nice setup here with plenty of parking, some games like cornhole, and a nice patio area. Pretty good sized tasting room inside as well with high ceilings and plenty of space to sit at the bar as well as some other tables.

Service was initially a bit slow, but was otherwise fine. They had a bunch of beers but I settled on a flight of four. The IPA and "Saison" were probably the winners of the group.

Seems like a place that’s got a good bit of capital behind it and they seemed to have some potential, though not a good bit of consistency. May stop in depending on how things go the next time I’m driving up/down 101. I still need to hit Captain Fatty’s...“

“Visited December 20, 2014.

This place only opened about a month ago and they seem to be doing OK for a tiny brewery. It’s another warehouse brewery operating on a homebrew system. I talked with the brewer a bit about their plans because I’m always curious what the business plan is for a place that has to pay employees to pour 1 keg of beer that took probably 8 hours of labor to make. It doesn’t make any sense to me. These guys at least have a plan. The three owners are not paying themselves anything and putting all the money towards a 10 bbl system. At that point they’ll get a proper chilling system too (yes, they’re doing the plastic fermenters in the fridge thing right now). They want to get a canning line too. I guess they’re looking for investors for all this as they think it’s going to cost about 250k. At least they have some understanding of scaling the business up. We’ll see if they get there or not. Right now the beers aren’t great. Not necessarily bad but not very good either. They were all astringent and the IPA is really malty. Meh.

Inside they’ve got a nice set up. They have some tables, a tv, and some games. Naturally there is plenty of merchandise to purchase. They’re in a quiet industrial complex next door to a CHP office. All around a kind of forgettable place. That said I’m sure I’ll be back at some point since it’s right up the way from Hollister.“

“Kind of hidden in a strip mall a couple blocks from the freeway, this BevMo is just like all the others. Typical selection, below average beer knowledge from the staff and average prices.“

“Visited March 17, 2013 after stopping in at Hollister, which is in the same shopping center.

Usual Bevmo selection but lacking the local presence. I saw some Tap It and dinner Figueroa Mountain but not much else side from Firestone. Did see stone Green Flash but I guess they’re everywhere these days.

Didn’t interact with the service but the place was nice. Didn’t see anything particularly inspiring but since I do stop in at Hollister a couple times a year I’ll likely stop in again.“

“Pretty basic BevMo selection here, perhaps a little more emphasis on the Central Coast than most. Still, has the usual Bear Republic, Alesmith, assorted imports, etc. Service is acceptable, prices are the same as at every BevMo. If you’re here and want a beer, just go across the parking lot to Hollister and have a couple pints or grab a growler.“

“Zodo’s has a good bowling alley, and all the NFL games during the season. For such a place, their selection is pretty good. They have the regular BMC stuff, some "Z’s" beers which are contract brewed by Firestone, and some other microbrews including Stone IPA, Firestone Pale Ale and Union Jack, Red Nectar, Sierra Nevada, and Anchor Steam. Good happy hour prices and generally good prices on beer.“
