“Typical festival. Good selection, high volume. Nothing rare. Good sized BYO six pack section with tiered pricing. Filled a sixer easily but could not have filled two. Probably a problem more unique to me than most people. Good selection of locals, and good seasonal selection of US micros. Liquor section is separate from the huge, overpriced but nice grocery store. Prices a bit high in the liquor area as well. Generally, Festivals are always good to stop in for ticks, and this is no exception.“

“I've been going to Ridgeview Liqour for the better part of a decade. The owner, Chris is a stand up, humble guy. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and never stops trying to get in the best & hard to find beers. He truly appreciates his customers business, and always says Thank you. They have the best selection in the area of "top tier" & "small batch" craft beers bar none. They also turn product very fast in this store. You won't get old beer here that's been sitting on a shelf collecting dust. And you'll always see new and unique beers here you have never heard of. The best part is, you can mix and match almost anything. Nearly every beer has an individual beer price, so you don't need to gamble your money on a 4 pack or 6 pack of a beer you've never tried. Ridgeview allows you to build the best mixed pack you ever thought possible. This place is an absolute gem for Green Bay and the surrounding area. Thanks Chris and staff for all you do to provide an exceptional selection, and exceptional service.“

“Right next to Lambeau. Not too busy but I visited relatively early. Customer service was above average, especially for a place this size. Lots of taps with lots of stuff available they don't offer in bottles. Beer quality is very good overall. Lots of options with several options across the ABV range. Beer to go at a good price (which I'm drinking right now in my hotel). Ambiance is hunters lodge and reminds me of Devils Backbone. It's big. Two big fireplaces on each end of the place. Lots of taxidermy. Nice place, and a destination brewery. Of particular importance for Packers fans. Go packers in 2020!“

“Sports bar for sure. 20ish taps but only 2 house taps. 4x flight for $10. i I barely found 4 new beers including the house beers, but I did. Mostly guest beer and some are interesting but they are all common. You'll find a decent beer here but not too much terribly interesting. Beer quality OK. Customer Service was weird but overall good. I guess it just took the server a while to warm up to you. Cheese curds okay (which is bad for cheese curds). The first house beer I tried was mediocre, but to my surprise their schwarzbier was actually really nice. Not worth going out of your way, at least at this point.“

“My second Festival Foods of the day. This time to stock up on food for the hotel room. Nicer beer selection than the DePere location. Easily filled a sixer and could have easily filled a second had I not just blown $50 at Woodman's. Nothing rare, but lots of seasonals. Good representation of locals. Tiered pricing which seems to be a thing with this chain. Grocery store itself is solid and feels like Wisconsin. No customer services in the aisles but checkout was pleasant. Decent place for ticks.“

“Really nice brewpub with excellent food and decent beer. Nice range of styles makes up for absolute quality; quality of food makes up for quality of beer, too. We enjoyed it, even though we didn’t find the beer ace.“

“Great liquor store in Ashwaubenon. Best craft beer selection around. Very friendly and helpful staff. Owner Chris does a great job bringing in a super selection of craft beers. Very nice store. Chris has been in the craft beer business since the beginning of the craft beer craze and both he and his staff are very knowledgeable. Ridgeview also carries a nice wine section.“

“Best looking craftbeer place in Green Bay...with the best overall vibe. I must have had the great bartender the whole time (thankfully)...he was amazing. I tried everything...and then did something I can't do at many breweries in other states (due to antiquated liquor laws)...have other types of liquor (finished up with an amazing Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 year old scotch finished in rum barrels!). I very much enjoyed the Silent Canary Double IPA, the Platinum Coffee Blonde, and the Black Coffee IPA. The One Cent Wheat was decent too. Nice one-two stop along with Titletown across the street (they are more impressive...but I think the beer and ambiance has an edge here).“

“Great looking place in Green Bay (probably the best looking craftbeer-wise)...the whole complex is pretty cool. Brewery was big and well laid out...absolutely loved the rooftop and the sunset views. For a hard partying town...this is a great place to hangout for craftbeer...just wish the beers were better. They were good...nothing off...but nothing really stood out either. Favorites included the Eureka IPA, the Rye the Helles, the Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Beer, and the SSA Smoked Sticke Alt. The Green 19 IPA wasn't bad either. Worth a visit if in town for the place itself...if not as much for the beer.“

“Great little brewery in Green Bay...cool taproom...simple but well done. People there were great...got all the local culture and craftbeer stories. I found the beers to be anywhere from good to a few that were very good...no bad beer, no bad styles, but also nothing that blew me away. My favorites were the Hoppyness version of Superkind IPA...and the Locals Only CH.3 Guava IPA. Definitely a must visit when in town.“

“Sorry bytemesis, we can't all be as cool as you and your 1149 place ticks. Tiny little place, but they can probably fit 40-50 in here. Filled up quickly. Bright and sunny. Wooden bar, wood tones about the place. Comfortable. Bartenders welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. No sign of food. Tried several beers ranging from good to very good. Good execution across a range of styles. Beers are a touch hop-forward for the style at least at my visit (which is awesome). Pretty cheap. Flight of 4 x 5 oz. was $8, half pints for $3, and pints for $5. Growlers filled, no crowlers. Overall, must-stop in Green Bay, and it's a tough call for best GB brewery between here and Badger State.“

“Hey bytemesis, rude to make fun of the founder's name. Stillmank is a fine name. Better than the beer, which was very meh. The porter was actually quite good, but the rest of the three I tried were very thin and lacking in flavor. At least it's cheap. Flight of 4 x 5 oz. was $7, prices for larger pours also good. Pretzels on the bar, and BYO food. Bartender was both friendly and helpful. Small building, comfortable and bright. Small bar and some tables. Small parking lot, but it looks like street parking is easy. Overall, not worth a stop if you have limited time.“

“Editing 6/1/21 as my score was a little low before. I was not a local when I first rated this place back in 2018, but now I am. Gets some rarities, and a vast majority of the beers are available as singles. Still the same pricing structure. 10% off your whole order if you get 6+ singles from anywhere. I'm always offered help and the guy who's usually there is super friendly. Probably the best bottle shop in the entire region. Old score was 3/8/12/15/76. New score will be quite a bit higher. Nice place. Small, standalone building with it's own dedicated parking. Warning: Google Maps made me miss this place. Huge selection, most of which is available as singles. Shelf tags will have a "single" price next to the pack price, and you are free to rip open packs if that single price is listed, which is a vast majority of the beers. No rarities, but lots of uncommon stuff, including seasonals. Selection spans local, national, and international selections. Decent cider selection. About half the store is beer and the other half is wine / spirits. A little pricy, but you get 10% off 6 or more. I got 3 six packs of new ticks for $41. Only one employee, so no help in the aisles, but he was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Recommended stop while in Green Bay.“

“As others have suggested, this is probably the best brewery in Green Bay (and worthy of being considered as one of the best in the state). 25 taps (at least), numerous styles. They seem to be more in their wheelhouse with hoppier styles, but all styles were well done. 4 ounce pours are $2-4. Quite a bit of high gravity stuff, which makes me glad I discovered there is a Sprinhill Suites literally across the street. Guess I know where I'm staying my next visit to Green Bay! Gargantuan parking lot. This place can accomodate a crowd. The servers tonight, unfortunately, could not. They could have used at least one more server. But even when the crowd died down they still seem overwhelmed. No menu per se but they do offer some snacks including a really tasty looking pretzel which will likely be my breakfast on Friday. Overall, excellent experience. Definitely stop here.“

“Yep. It's a Woodman's. Which means massive grocery store. This one a bit cleaner and better stocked than my normal Milwaukee area locations. Similar beer selection as the other locations. Haphazard but wide ranging singles. Lots of locals, regional micros. Good prices. The thing about Woodman's is they always seem to have an amazing sale on a pallet near the front. Today it was BOGO Goose Island six packs (fresh too!). No service except the distributor rep who kept getting in my way and didn't even apologize. He must me from Illinois. Good prices. Woodman's are always a worthy stop if you want ticks.“

“This place is almost visible from my hotel room. I visited the tap room. A cavernous place, white brick and art deco vibes. Lots of tables and a huge bar. I found it to be comfortable. The pizzas people were getting looked incredible, and I may have to go back to snag one of those. Lots of tap selections and a hand pull. Inventive beers along with the standard selections. All beers were good, but none outstanding. Six-packs and growlers to go. Solid prices. Bartenders were hard to flag down, but were friendly once you got one. Overall, nice stop and good 1-2 punch with Copper State nearby.“

“Kind of a smallish feeling tasting room designed with lots of wood. I think there was an upstairs tasting area, but it was closed when I visited. Large brewery is visible through some windows scattered around the place. Coffee roastery is also here, so... smells. Did not try the food, but it looked and smelled nice. Bartender was friendly, funny, and working hard, but then his shift ended and he was replaced with a couple of mediocre bartenders who together couldn't even muster half the work ethic, or personality, of the other two. Flight of 6 beers, 5 ounce, choose your own, was $12. Beers were all solidly made and enjoyable. Place was on the more expensive side overall. Worth a stop when in Green Bay, especially when visiting Titletown.“

“Big bar located in downtown Green Bay, with the front on Washington Street, and huge patio facing the riverfront. There's a pretty good tap list in terms of sheer numbers, maybe about 30 overall. We were there in mid-late September, so about a third was dedicated to Oktoberfests. There were a handful of locals represented, with a good amount of regional crafts, and some macro/crafty stuff. Waitresses were young women who were overwhelmed by the football weekend crowds and maybe not the most knowledgable, but that's fine. Patio beers were served in plastic cups. Prices were great, though. We didn't eat. It's a huge bar with a kind of sterile chain-like atmosphere, but there's some good beer to be had.“

“We visited the new Hinterland Brewery the Saturday afternoon before a Sunday afternoon Packers game. It was crowded with both Packers and visiting fans, but there were still plenty of tables and spots at the bar and on the patio because the place is absolutely enormous. There's a large dining room and bar downstairs, a patio to the south, and an upstairs bar and dining room. Really a cool, open, modern building that is great. There were about a dozen house taps on when we visited, with about as many guests and a few dozen bottles. Surprisingly large wine list, too. We didn't eat but the food looked good and I've heard good things. Service was attentive. Prices are higher than I expected but not unreasonable. They were brilliant to open this shiny new star of a brewery across from the stadium. Cool place, and a must-visit while you're in town.“

“Last stop of the Door County side trip; another unrated (on RB) brewery. Come on people. This is a nice little place on the outskirts of GB proper. They have their own lot which is fine. Not large inside, a few tables and a bar that might seat 8. Lots of locals playing games. Flights of four available, and the brewer poured me a fifth when he realized I was into beer rating. Quite a bit of variability, but they are clearly capable of making very good beer.“

“You can walk here from Leatherhead, much to the chagrin of my drinking buddy. This is a large scale operation. Impressive. Really well thought out taproom, lots of taps including a few guest taps. everything available as a four ounce pour for 2-3$. Solid service. Beer quality is pretty high, and selection is varied and interesting. Best beer in Green Bay, really no contest. It would be easy to read the prior reviews and think the place is being homered, but let me say, on the strength of my 1000+ reviews, that this place is legit.“

“Bad name, good place. Stillmank is the home of the infamous Wisco Disco, which is actually a pretty solid ESB. Not really sure where in the town map this place is, but its not in the main part. Street parking available. Lots of people on a Thursday afternoon. Thursday also happens to be the night were Wisco pints are $2, which is a rocking good deal. The place is a taproom, decent sized with a small bar and tables. Plenty of beers on tap. Me Likey“

“Copper state is a new brewery in town, taking over the space vacated by Hinterland in March 2017. As such, they have a pretty good space, across the street from TItletown. Fights of four available. Service was good and attentive. I was not excited by the beer overall, but there were no obvious flaws in most of them. A place to keep an eye on. They also do coffee and have a coffee bar inside as well.“

“Titletown is widely advertised as the best brewery in GB; personally i think Hinterland gives them a run for their money, but anyway. The location is across the river from downtown and is a bit confusing. There is a brewpub/restaurant on one side of the street and the production facility, along with a taproom and a rooftop bar on the other side. All are represented by this single listing here on RB. We went to the tap room, which was fairly quiet on Tuesday night. Plenty of beers on tap, available as flights of four or six. Beer quality was generally solid, but not exceptional. Service was ok, although the bartender was a bit odd. Apparently there are no bathrooms in the taproom, you need to walk across the street to the restaurant, which is weird. We did not try the brewpub or the rooftop, but I imagine they are well thought out. A worthy stop during any visit to GB.“

“Hinterland moved from their central GB location to a prime spot next to Lambeau in March 2017. The new location is extremely nice, large parking lot, tons of table seating inside, much of it communal, and a large bar. The place was totally packed at about 7PM Tuesday evening, but we managed to find seats at the bar. Reservations are recommended if you want a table. Taplist consisted of a bunch of Hinterland beers as well as about 10 guest taps, which is cool. All beers available in flights of six, or as individual 5 oz samplers. The bartender was willing to do the samples even though he was slammed, which not all places will do. Food was quite good as well. I thought the beer quality varied a lot, but as with the girl with the curl, when it is good, it is very very good. Recommended for the experience as well as the beer.“

“100 taps advertised, about 70 were active when I was there, but that is still an impressive selection. Wisconsin / Midwest focus for sure, but there are a few from further away mixed in. Screens above the bar with the tap list, but it takes a while to scroll through. There are also little wireless devices on the bar that let you search selection quite conveniently. The place itself is in the downtown area, not too busy on a Monday night though. Ramp parking available and free. I thought the service was a bit lacking, but not terrible, more like disinterested. We had a mini argument over whether Wisconsin Belgian Red was on at some point (it was). No half pours, flights or the like makes ticking a challenge here. Prices fair for Wisconsin

Overall ambiance was fine; bar-like. Bathrooms are a plus - you piss into urinals fashioned from beer kegs, and they have the undisputable best technology for backsplash prevention installed. All in all a worthy destination.“

“This is an amazing place, especially for Green Bay. Badger State’s beers and its taproom have played a huge role in jumpstarting the craft beer scene in NE Wisconsin. All of their beer is very drinkable and has a clean taste to it. You can tell there is pride and meticulousness when it comes to the hops, grain and yeast used, as well as the brewing process. Badger State cans its year round offerings. Notables are the Walloon Wit and the Green Chop session IPA. Each comes in 16 ounce 4 packs. The Walloon is an excellent easy drinking Belgian style Wit-- terrific summer beer. The Green Chop is perhaps the best session IPA I’ve had. It has the full flavor and mouthfeel of a bigger IPA, but as the name implies is very much a "lawnmower beer" you can drink all day. The taproom features their year round beers and a rotating selection of Badger State’s seasonal brews. They seem to be making a name for themselves for their Belgian style ales, which are potent and delicious. True to the style. The room itself is a lively, industrial warehouse type space. Service is friendly and the beertenders are quick to welcome you. No kitchen, but you can order from nearby restaurants and they often have food trucks on site on weekends. It has a big city feel not often found in Green Bay. A welcome addition to this area’s beer and food scene.“

“These guys take the beer scene in northern Wisconsin to the next level. Tap Room is beautiful, warm, friendly, and inviting. The beer selection is ample and rotates regularly, plus that carry local sodas and fmb’s for non-beer drinkers. Bring your own food policy works great. The beer garden and event hall spaces are super cool and we have been fortunate to have this place not too far away from where we live! Cheers Badgers!“
