58 /100 Stackpole Inn (Restaurant) JASONS CORNER Plush sympathetically traditional multi-roomed pub around three sides of a central bar, which serves four local real ales. Practically all the tables are set-up for dining, although to there's ample outdoor space if good weather drinking is your thing, and it's a pretty village and garden to do this in. If eating at peak times you may want to book ahead. |
58 /100 Stackpole Inn (Restaurant) JASONS CORNER Visited whilst walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path just south of the village and too the opportunity to wander inland a little as it had become wet and windy up on the cliffs. As mentioned before this is largely a high end restaurant, understandably so given its location. There is a bar where dogs are allowed and damp walkers. It is a little hushed, library like. 3 beers on hand-pull, well kept then back onto the wild and wet cliff walk. |
72 /100 Stackpole Inn (Restaurant) JASONS CORNER A pub I read about and seen that it had rooms to rent. It is really a high standard restaurant rather than a pub, as it only has a small bar. On a Wednesday in April the restaurant was fully booked (book ahead) and the food was superb. The beer itself was a choice of 4 taps, 1 which was reserved to be from local breweries, they changed the barrel while I was there so got to try 2 different ones they were excellent & well kept. The service was very good. The newly done up rooms were in a adjacent building & excellent value. Only downside was the unusual opening hours, but it gave me the incentive to explore some of the nearby Pembrokeshire coastal footpath, which was stunning. |
