52 /100 CASTLE SQUARE
“Large locals pub just across the road from Beaumaris Castle. It's in the current GBG, which is why I gave it a try. There is a pedestrianised square to the front with seating for the pub in a bit of a suntrap, a nice spot for watching the world go by. Inside there are 2 rooms, one with the bar and sport on the t.v, the other a little more comfortable. Dogs are welcome on leads. Just 2 cask beers available on our visit, I managed a new beer though, the normal industrial keg beers also.“

60 /100 CHURCH STREET,
“Close to the Bull pub, but occupying the side street before it rather than being on the main drag. It's a very traditional pub with low ceilings and a cosy older world atmosphere, with a full row of regular cask ales from the pubs owner Robinsons. The bar is pretty much upon you after you walk through the central doorway, with seats here and to the left, but the lion share is to the right. This is a foody pub given it's a tourist town and its impressive concentric medieval castle just a couple of minutes walk away. It seems the ale choice has improved since the last reviewer, with one of the its casks being the latest special from the brewer.“

68 /100 CASTLE STREET
“The pub is situated in an old traditional building and there’s plenty of charm about its cosy and snug bar area. The building is however split into three sections, the other two being the hotel and the restaurant, the latter of which is modern compared to the old world charm of the drinking den. It’s a very comfortable and atmospheric place for a drink with an open fire when the season turns cold.“

“Nice old building open fires, very traditional pub, not changed in years apart from the upgraded bistro and the new Townhouse restaurant business located next door. Relatively good value good quality food. Beer kept well. Some variable real ale selections.“
