“This is an old world Harbour Inn on what was the quayside when coal and fertilisers were shipped from Red Wharf Quay. Looks to have been extended through a couple of cottages to make now a large, multi roomed pub. Lovely views when the weather allows, unfortunately we arrived in a storm. Lots of parking, dogs welcomed in their own lounge, up to 3 dogs maximum then others sit outside. Just 3 ales available on our visit, T.T Landlord and a couple of rebadges from Facers and Conwy breweries. Well worth a look.“

“Lovely olde worlde pub in a gorgeous position next to the beautiful Red Wharfe Bay. It's bigger inside than you think when you first step in (there are additional rooms around the back of the bar). There's also a nice outside seating area. Given the location obviously diners take up the majority of the space (and in season or at weekends you'll certainly need to book to eat) but drinkers are just as welcome - it still manages to feel like a proper pub. The staff are friendly, although busy. The food is trad pub grub but done well and with decent portions - my Dragon Pie (chilli and mint lamb topped with very cheesy mash) was superb. It is possibly marginally more expensive than other pubs in the area, but you'd expect that for the location and you still feel like you get decent value for money. The beer choice is, unfortunately, a little pedestrian - four standard cask bitters, I think on my visit it was Landlord, Doom Bar, one from Facers and a rebadged Conwy as the house ale. I got the impression that the selection rarely changed, although they were in decent nick. All in all though this is a wonderful pub, and all the better for the fact that despite the tourist location it's not been tempted to make itself "gastro" or tart itself up. I'd go back if I was on Anglesey again.“

“Overlooking the very beautiful and tidal Red Wharf Bay, with plenty of outdoor seating for you to enjoy the views if the weather permits, this is a very old pub, with a fine traditional decor and atmosphere with creaky wooden furnishing. The central doorway entrance leads immediately to two further door into separate rooms left and right, but both are very similar in design and the bar area serves both sides. It's understandably a food based pub now and it might be worth booking ahead at busy times, especially if the weather removes any chance of outdoor dining. Alongside a Tim Taylor's regular were two of its own beers, almost certainly rebrands of something or other. The pub has its own car park for customers use only, and there is a public car parking area before this.“

“in a beautiful location even better when the sun is out and the tide in . enjoy a few pints and a bite to eat next to the water .stunning. a bit on the expensive side but never mind“

“A beautiful location especially with the sun shining (though the wasps were a challenge). The food is local and has provenance. The service is polite and helpful. The cask beer is either Adnams or their own house beer brewed by Conwy. There’s also a guest usually from a big English regional brewery.“

“Always enjoy visiting here. gets busy in the tourist season, and is a little calmer during the winter. great sea views and great beer garden now with lots of cover.“

“Nice old country inn, located in the Red Wharf Bay; some fine ales are availble, the food is freshly cooked and well prepared. A nice place to spend a quiet summer evenig on the patio with a nice view over the bay. Recommended!“
