“Visited September 2023. It’s a modern brewpub that offers 4 own Tierra beers (Wit, Red Ale, Stout, Mexican Lager) as well as some guest taps. The place was quite empty when we visited on a Tuesday afternoon. Friendly, chill atmosphere, nice beers, good food, moderate to high prices for Mexico.“

“Visited September 2023. Small bottle shop in Oaxaca. Interesting international selection, many US and European beers. Many Mexican crafts as well. Possible to drink in-house or take away. High prices, like in Europe.“

“Visited September 2023. Small taproom, bistro and café located in a noble street in Oaxaca’s historic part. Very nice place. 3 taps of their own beers plus many more bottled. Not that big selection though. Nice service, good prices. Very nice food and coffee.“

“A really cool tasting room with good service and very good beers. The dry hopped APA is one of the best beers I've tried in Mexico.“

“Cute little brewpub with 3 taps and a few bottles. The service was good and rather fast, yet the beers are far from being anything special. Worth a visit while in Oaxaca, I guess.“

“A little outside the center but still in walking distance. The had three of their own beers from tap along with four beers from guest brewers. All beers were in good shape and decent. We also tried the burgers, which were pretty good. There is not a lot of space inside and you could smell the kitchen there but there is also a roofed terrace outside. The staff was friendly and prices were average for Mexican standards. My favorite beer place in Oaxaca.“

“Bar with wooden interior with not too much space inside but with a nice terrace upstairs. You can find loads of different Mezcals there along with 6 beers from tap and about 70 bottles (Mexican only). The hoppy beers I had there tasted a little old and I am quite sure that I was not always served the beer from tap I ordered. Overall still worth a visit, especially if you can sit outside on the terrace.“

“Very small brewpub with 3 of their own beers from tap along with some bottles from other breweries. Food can be had from a bakery next door. The beers are brewed just behind the bar and we were there we could smell the wort as they were mashing at that time. We could also have a look in the actual brew room. Friendly staff. Prices were average for Mexican standards and the beers were decent.“

“Showed up right when they opened. Unfortunately, they had a tap takeover the night before, so every beer except one was Mexican from the Baja Peninsula. It was awesome to try that many new Mexican breweries, but they only had one of their own, the Boy Stout which was a solid stout. Nice little place with a small indoor room and an outdoor patio in a really cool part of town. There were a few other really nice places on this street, and only a few doors away from Itanoni, which is a cool restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. I would certainly go back and hang out there again. We enjoyed it a lot.“

“This place is close by ( 2 blocks) but I have yet to visit. However, I have had one of their beers twice, on different occasions. Both instances the this beer was excellent. I tend to lean to the stouts, so I was very impressed with this one by the name of Tierra Ahumada. The stout I was raised on is Guinness, but the Guinness you buy here is not the same. There has to be a different recipe for export, and the Guinness sold here in Oax. is bad. I am so happy to see that a local brewery has come up with a recipe that is outstanding. This is my new go-to stout from now on. Congratulations. I’d rate this a 97 if I could, but the program will not allow this based on just 2 imputs.....“

“Place was packed on a Friday evening (mind you, only 10 person can fit in this tiny bar). 3 of their own beers on tap, available as 5 on and 12 on pours. 3X 5 on is 70 pesos. Food available is from El Gourmand next doo. Decent bottle selection and friendly service.“

“Friendly and modern place, actually two places in one with a deli/cafe on one side and bar on the other side. You can get the beers in both locations, and get food in both as well, but the bar does not open until the evening. Definitely a nanobrewery/homebrewery but the beers were actually pretty good even if occasionally a little turbid. They bottle their porter.“

“A store you can drink in, but more a place to buy para llevar. Their walls are lined with the beer stock of days past, what is actually available for purchase is a lot less than what you see on the walls. Still they have the best selection for Oaxaca city, which isn’t saying much as OAX is a mezcal place and not a beer place. Regardless, the selection is decent and changes regularly. Staff friendly but not necessarily knowledgable or geeky in any way. ***Note***Google thinks this place is a block down and across the street from where it actually is. It’s actually right across the street from a small and ugly LDS (Latter-Day Saints/Mormon) church.“

“Top craft beer spot in Oaxaca, with a fairly extensive list of mexican microbrews. Good vibe. 2 rooms and a courtyard, and lots of mezcal.“

“This ended up being our top place in Oaxaca because it was close, friendly, with good atmosphere and lots of choices to drink. I believe this bar may have the best selection of beers in the historic center. They have a sister bar near the Zocalo as well, called Mezcaltitlan, but we did not go there. Their mezcal selection is top notch, and truly that is the spirit of Oaxaca. Staff is cool and knowledgable.“

“This is a courtyard restaurant. They have a few micros, so not bad, but their selection isn’t the best in town by any stretch. Didn’t eat but the menu looks pretty interesting.“

“Liking this nanobrewery in the old town on Oaxaca. Very small system, so you get some pretty quick rotation on the beers. The pub is open evenings, but the coffeeshop next door is open all day and you can buy the beers there as well. This means that you can get the cafe’s food in the pub, too. A few other Mexican micos to round out the selection.“

“The first thing you need to know is that there are three buildings on this street with the same address: 1005. So if you don’t see Beer Company at the first one, keep looking. When you find it, the Beer Company is a typical store with a range of Mexican micros and imports. You can drink on the premises or buy para llevar.“

“The restaurant is located in an inner patio of a nice colonial building near the Santo Domingo Temple. It’s not quite cheap compared to other restaurants in the city but the beer prices are not that bad. They have beer on tap which is not quite common in the city. They also have mass brewed and craft beer from Mexico.“
