“Stripmall location, obviously, since this is Colorado, home to the largest collection of stripmalls in the world. Nice corner location, though, with a pretty patio - raining when I visited. Long bar and restaurant tables. Everyone playing dungeons & dragons, ignoring the football on the two TVs. Very friendly bar person. Good selection of styles, flights of four or individual tasters possible. Everything I had was decent with a couple very tasty. Cajun food truck was the best food truck food I've had in a long time. Worthwhile stop.“

“Nice place with tons of seating inside, very friendly service. 15 taps, very basic styles, the Oktoberfest I had was pretty good. Worth a stop in Arvada.“

“Very small and nondescript place in Arvada, walking distance from Yak & Yeti. You could walk right by the place and not realize it, seriously they need a sign or something. The service was excellent. 14 taps, just about all of them IPAs. The one I had was very good. Arvada doesn't have a ton of breweries, I would definitely check this place out.“

“As soon as you open the door, you are greeted with the smell of Indian food. For me, this was a great thing. The ambiance is interesting, it's like a big old house converted into a restaurant/brewery. The service was extremely friendly. Spice Trade brewing operates out of the restaurant. They have 20 taps, all geared towards pairing with the food. The beers I had were well done. The food was excellent; some of the best brewery food I've had. I strongly recommend this place.“

“This outpost of DBC is very spacious with lots of outdoor seating, a long bar, and tons of tables. There is a permanent burger truck inside. The tap list is pretty extensive and it met my expectations of this brewery. Some pretty solid stuff was certainly available. Service was friendly. It's easy walking proximity to the main street in Old Towne is convenient.“

“Small storefront, but surprisingly large inside. Great bar area, with a clean and industrial vibe. The servers were unwaveringly friendly and enthusiastic, with a great repartee with practically everyone. Absolutely floored that they were using a IR thermometer to ensure proper serving temperature for a big stout. The tap list is full of gems and fun variations, and the cooler has a bunch more cans for sale to go. Quality place, good people, and overall great experience.“

“Either these guys got a lot better since 2017 or Ratman197 is like the Russian judges from the Cold War-era olympics. This place is great. So the cons - really the only con - is that they're excessively heavy on hazy IPAs. The pros are that they do them very well (might have had the best hazy I've ever had here - a 14% beast brewed with honey, so sweet and tasty), the sours are great and they have some good stuff to go. Like I could go for some variety in styles on draft but there's some great beer here. Worth going out of your way for. Didn't try the food but it's a tapas place.“

“Nice sized space with a large outdoor patio and a permanent indoor food truck. Open and comfortable with bar seating, small tables and picnic tables. 14 beers on tap, including 5 regulars, 5 small batch selections and 4 exclusive to the location. A little pricy, but the beers are usually worth it.“

“Interesting combination of Indian-style food and house beers. The brewery part of this place is now known as Spice Trade Brewing instead of Yak & Yeti Brewpub. (The name of the restaurant remains the same.) Nice ambiance and good service. 11 beers on tap, with a variety of interesting styles (many have spices/adjuncts added), including a guest cider. Kind of a cool place for an occasional visit.“

“Nice ambiance, usually playing some good tunes. The service has been friendly and attentive at the bar. The beer is a little above average, with 11-13 house beers and a few guest bottles for selection. Food and beer both seem to be a little on the spendy side. Overall, they seem to be making improvements and are trending upwards.“

“This is a really cool addition to Old Town Arvada. They nailed the ambiance of a rustic beer hall. It’s spacious inside with plenty of seating at the bar and also at large tables. The historic building provides plenty of character. Plenty of beers from northern Colorado that don’t regularly make it down to Denver are on tap here along with some quality staples and even a small amount of imports or out of state beers. It’s not just flagships, but one offs as well. Prices are very fair. It was quite busy on a Thursday night, but the staff was friendly and efficient. Equal attention was paid to the sausages which are nothing short of delicious. With 52 taps and plenty of styles represented, you should have no problem finding something good.“

“Large well lit noisy space with around 7 or 8 of their own beers and about 10 guest taps. Service is quick and efficient. Food is small plates and pricey. Beer prices are average to high side. I’d go next door to Grand Lake myself.“

“Wound up here in a dinner date - I had no idea it existed until Yelp told me - anyway, small-ish, cozy taproom - wooden tables - exposed kitchen area - some barrels lying about - table service - only a handful of house beers, but a fair assortment of guest taps - food focuses on tapas, and like every other tapas place I’ve been to, the portions are too damn small for the price in most cases (7 bucks for 75 cents worth of Brussels sprouts cooked on garlic? Jesus.) - despite this, the food was fairly tasty - the three house beers were not very good - two "sour" saisons were actually pretty gross, and the double IPA was just drinkable - prices on the guest taps were too high (7 bucks for a 14 ounce Destihl abbey single? No thanks.) - service was friendly and the vibe was nice - my only major issue with the layout is that most of the seating is communal tables, so it’s not conducive to my purpose for being there, which is totally fine, but I feel like if you’re going to try to be a sit- down brewpub restaurant, you should set up your interior like a restaurant, not like a brewery that doesn’t serve food - anyway, I’m not sure if I’d return here - it’s a decent spot, with a good location in Old Town, and the food is pretty good, but the pricing and overall quality of the beer leaves me unimpressed.“

“This place is pretty hidden and very relaxed. Dog friendly, games and both indoor and outdoor seating. A decent number of,taps, and typically some unique / rotating offerings. Beer is ok, has gotten better the last few times. I’m sure this place will continue to grow, and it is in my opinion the best brewery in the Arvada area.“

“We stopped here at 3 pm as they opened on a Monday and the place was expectedly pretty empty. Plenty of parking, tucked away in a business complex. They had 8 beers on tap, most of which were pretty good. Above average for newer Denver area breweries. I enjoyed the Scotch Ale and the Dunkelweizen the most. I would probably come here to drink before Yak & Yeti (Arvada) and certainly before Arvada Brewing.“

Manneken Frites (Restaurant)
5616 OLDE WADSWORTH BLVD
“This is a cool little shop selling Belgian fries and some interesting hot dogs. The food was really good. There are tons of interesting dipping sauces for the fries. There are only a few taps but the beers on tap were all solid (4 taps) and they had several Belgian beers in bottles. Definitely worth a stop. Seems like it attaches to the Arvada beer company and you can get Manneken Frites food in Arvada Beer Company, but probably a much better choice to just drink the tasty Belgians Manneken Frites has instead.“

“Odyssey has a really cool tasting room tucked away in a business complex. It’s spacious with a wooden interior. There are plenty of games to play and one TV way up high visible from the floor. They seem to do a lot of events like trivia or movie night and have food trucks often. The service was great. I found the beer to be serviceable. There wasn’t anything on that really did it for me, but it was mostly solid stuff. I’m not sure this would be worth going through a lot of trouble to visit, but if in the area this is a solid spot to grab a beer.“

“Typical business/industrial park brewery with not that flattering of interior. The staff was very nice during my visit, but the beers were pretty mediocre. Had one of their canned products recently and it was worse than one tap.

“The Yak and Yeti is an excellent destination for a good beer, outstanding food and warm ambiance. It’s in the oldest building in Arvada and has a comfortable, storied ambiance. We sat at the bar and received friendly, personable and knowledgeable service. The food is the centerpiece of this restaurant. It spans accessible to hardline Tibetan food, but is full of flavor. Three beers, two entrees and an appetizer totaled $51. Definitely reasonable for the portion and quality. The beers had some highlights and some lowlights, but nothing really wowed me. There are a few good options for fresh beer to pair with the cuisine, but I feel the food is on another level here.“

“Awesome Indian/Tibetan/Nepalese brewpub just outside of Denver. Day time buffet was excellent. Great food and service. Ten of their own beers on tap. A couple of interesting beers and your brewpub staples. Beers ranged from excellent to just okay. Prices were low. Three pints, a sampler of ten beers and three buffets for less than $45. Overall, a unique place and well worth a visit.“

“Odyssey is one of the any new breweries opening in the Denver metro area. The tap room is conveniently located next to the brewing area. The brewer and his staff are a fun group and eager to chat up all patrons. The beers are solid and offered up fresh.“

“I like the idea of an Indian/Nepalese restaurant in Colorado brewing their own beer. Having said that, the food is much better than the beer, though that is not to slight all their beers. Some were pretty good; others were not, such as the Gluten Free Apple. However, if I were on a gluten free diet, I would appreciate their offering more. We sat at the bar, and our waitress/bartender seemed much too occupied in being pissy than serving customers. The constant eye rolling and "I’m too busy even though the place is not busy" got old real quick.“

“Quaint victorian house thats now a decorative Indian restaurant. Went for the lunch buffet and was really impressed with the quality and selection. $10 lunch buffet was a little steep, but worth it for how full I got. The beers are ok. Nothing bad, but nothing mind-blowing. Though I do give them props for having a wide range of well made styles, and at only $4 a pint its really not bad. Get the pilsner.“

“I finally made it up to this place this weekend to check out their food and the chai stout. It lived up to expectations. The building is super cool, and makes the dining experience worth it in and of itself. The food was decent. My wife and I had Indian food, and there are certainly better Indian places around, but they had a pretty good selection of foods from the subcontinent, and what we had was tasty. The beer was so-so. I love that they are doing some small batch stuff and experimenting. My wife had the IPA and it was delightful. I had the chai stout and it was served totally flat, but despite that still tasted pretty good.“

“Charming and cozy. Definitely a restaurant with a few brews, not a brewery with food. Servers were quick and attentive. We started with a sampler of the entire lineup... three ounces each of hefe, ESB, IPA, and Chai milk stout ran $8, while a full point costs only $4. WTH? All the beers tasted of cloves, My pint of IPA was pretty good except for that one big flaw. The ESB was godawful putrid disgusting. The overpriced dinner buffet was meager as far as choices, but tasty and filling. However, although SWMBO and I are no strangers to Indian cooking, but we were both sick the next day. So my advice is order from the menu and skip the beer.“

“February 2009. What a hidden gem! Stopped by this quirky spot for a light lunch and a couple beers right at opening time on a Monday. Service came with a smile and the beer was surprisingly good. The aromas from the kitchen were wonderful and the little bit of finger food we had was awesome. Recommended! (Brwery #471)“

“I’ve eaten here twice; once from the menu for dinner (before the beer was ready), which was quite tasty, and more recently from the lunch buffet, which was awful. I know better than to eat from Indian buffets, but in this case the visit was to try the beer so I figured I’d suffer the buffet quality for convenience. The beers are pretty ho-hum and ordinary, but drinkable. Go with modest expectations and order from the menu.“
