80 /100 3255, BOUEVARD LOUIS-FRÉCHETTE Very nice place to drink some goods beers with friends and taste the new meals |
54 /100 Resto-Bières le Thymbré (Restaurant) 157, RUE DU CURÉ-BRASSARD Visited on a Monday at lunch time. Small and cozy place in downtown Nicolet, it was very quiet during my visit. Short food menu had some interesting daily specials, the food was tasty and reasonably priced. Beer selection is quite pedestrian, a few pseudo-micros on tap, but they do have 1 rotating Trou du Diable tap, which is nice. Good service. Nice restaurant to stop by, probably the best beer place in Nicolet but not worth a detour for a beer geek. |
52 /100 Resto-Bières le Thymbré (Restaurant) 157, RUE DU CURÉ-BRASSARD Nice place located in a an old post office. Ambiance is good and service is good, even is the staff doesn’t know a lot about beer. Selection isn’t very good. There’s was a couple of draft line but only one interesting (Trou du Diable - Mactavish). A couple of the most common Unibroue and MacAuslan bottle too, but nothing exceptional.. . but it’s Nicolet after all, so that’s already very good! Food is excellent and there’s a good menu (including calf liver and good local products). Price are correct. |
