“Swanky modern decor in the large tasting room and the shop, but this was the only place without a view of the orchards, at least not from inside (on a rainy, windy day). In better weather you can hike to the top of the hill behind the cidery, though, for a great view over the valley, though they charge a nominal fee for this. The tasting includes an interesting variety of apple products including a semi dry cider, a fortified cider, an ice cider and an eau de vie, all of which were worth trying. They have a nice illustration of ice cider production. Friendly staff knew the products well. A worthwhile stop.“

“Most or all of the cideries in this area have nice views over their apple orchards. But this one, like Petit et Fils, is on a ridge with a nice view over the entire valley of orchards - you can even see the mountains in the distance. Lots of Adirondack tables, as well as patio tables and chairs. Weather outside was cool, rainy and very windy, but that didn't matter one bit. The indoor tasting room is large with a standing bar, a function or large group room and a store. Good selection of products included a rarely seen poire' de glace.Ciders were decent, and they do flights of wines if you prefer. Some snack items available.“

“Stopped in for a guided tour that they advertised for Quebec Cider Week, but found it strange that I was the only car in the car park. Alas there was no tour. However, I did get personalized attention from the young female host. They had a guided tasting of two ciders, an ice cider and a cider apertif for 8 CAD. Nice variety too - one tasty bone dry cider, a fruited cider with strawberry, peach and grapefruit, and finally a nicely complex and very interesting cider aged for a year in French oak barrels. All were tasty in their own way, and I managed to buy some as well. They were out of the poire de glace, so I'll have to return for that. A decent stop.“

“First stop during Quebec Cider Week 2023. Nice winding drive through the flowering apple trees to reach a large modern tasting room. Lower level has a central bar that also doubles as a shop. Upstairs has restaurant tables and Adirondack chairs inside and one a nice wrap-around deck that overlooks the orchard and the hills. There are a few picnic tables at the edges of the orchard two, and you can have a wander if you like. Ciders are clearly explained in both French and English, and the bilingual host knew the ciders very well. A self-guided tasting comes with two generous samples of cider and two equally generous pours of ice ciders - gives you a rough idea of the rest of the range. You can also drink full bottles of anything in house, or of course take it with you. I enjoyed their dry but sparkling cider (Honey Honey) and the Reserve ice cider the best - so complex and characterful. Nice local cheeses that pair well with the ice ciders, or charcuterie if you prefer. Great first stop.“

“Visité suite à l’achat d’un forfait sur le site d’achats groupés Tuango. Belle boutique moderne située au milieu du verger. Service sympathique et connaissant bien ses produits. Dégustations de cinq de leurs cidres allant de correct à très bons. Les prix sont dans la moyenne et à l’exception d’un cidre (Le Fortifié) ils sont trouvable à la SAQ.“

“Be cautious, it’s not open very often. You have to take drive a bit through the orchard to arrive at the boutique. It’s a large and modern boutique area. Service was average at best, but it was unclear if the boutique was open to the public or not. Tours seems to be available for groups (10+), not sure about individuals. Selection is limited mostly to what is available in SAQ stores and priced similarly. Tasting is available when you take the tour and is free when you buy a bottle of ice cider. Unless you are in Rougemont and want an easy place tick, it’s not a cidery I would recommend to visit... that being said it’s not a reason to not try their Cidre de Glace vintage 2012, which is one of the most tropical, vibrant and tasty ice cider I have ever tried.“

“Visited on a week day. The boutique is far (not that much) from the road so you have to drive through the orchard which is nice when you visit quickly and doesn’t have time to take a walk in the orchard. There’s guided tours of the cidery available upon reservation. Props to the service as there’s an "in-house expert" which doesn’t say much but still it’s fun that there’s someone on the floor for the sole purpose of speaking about the products while the cashiers can do their jobs. Selection is interesting as there’s a few products not available in SAQ store. Tasting available for free and I got a generous pour. Quality of the ice cider is average. An interesting place to visit if you are in the area, but not one I would travel for.“

“Visited on a week day not too long before the harvest. It was kind of a weird service experience as the place wasn’t too busy, but there was a small tour taking much of the employees time. I didn’t had a bad service per se, but it was a new employee and she didn’t knew much about the products. The place looks fine, but I came only to buy bottles this time so I didn’t took the tour or took the time to visit the trails on the orchard and mountain which sounded fun. The building itself is large, modern and good looking. Selection is wide, and even though most of the products are available in SAQ stores for similar prices, there was a few cidery-only interesting ticks like their sparkling ice cider. Tasters were available. Price are normal for ice cider. I will need to come back for sure for a more complete experience.“

“Like the name said, it’s located in the center of Rougemont in the form of a boutique that probably hasn’t change much since the ’80. An old man, which I think was the owner, was polite but didn’t want to talk much about the products except for saying they won a few medals in some recent competitions. Selection is pretty small, I think 4 or 5 products were available. A few not available in SAQ stores though. No tasters offered from my experience there, but it might be possible at some point. CASH ONLY. Packaging of the products also looks like directly out of the ’80. Definitely not a place that you make a specific trip to visit, but since it’s located among a ton of other cideries in Rougemont it’s an easy place tick.“

“Visited on a week day afternoon, a week before the harvest. The place is huge and there’s a nice large room with massive windows where you can eat / drink and have a beautiful view of the orchard. The employees there were welcoming and had a good knowledge of the products. Selection is interesting with almost all the products listed on RB being available including a few products not available in SAQ stores is the amazing Coteau Rougemont Grande Réserve. There’s also some tasty wines if you are into that. Prices for their ice cider is comparable to other cideries in the area and quality is definitely there too. Tasters available. A really nice place to visit.“

“A beautiful building a bit off the main road that is large and modern. A nice display area once in side too. Service was fine with nice samples and server was pretty knowledgeable. A number of ciders and a few liquors available for purchase. Prices were a bit steep but still worth it.“

“We stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon on the way to go camping. It was definitely worth the detour. The orchard is quite nice, with a hiking trail up the hill/mountain (we didn’t go, but there’s a $3 cost for the trail). The tour through the cellar/cidery was fun -- the girl showing us around was super friendly and knowledgeable. ...and the tasting was great. We were able to get free (small) tastes of nearly all the products, apple brandy included (I’m sure it wouldn’t have been a problem to try them all), and non-alcoholic ciders for the kids. Next time we’ll bring a lunch and stay longer (and enjoy a bottle of the rosé mousseux on the grass outside) “

“An absolute must stop cidery. We got a full tour from (an awfully cute) girl who seems to take a large part in the brewing process. Their barrel-room is the most impressive I’ve seen outside Cantillon’s. Old, full bottles fill up nearly every wall in the place. At the end of the tour there is a tasting with 8+ ciders, all for free. Plus, it’s all open during the winter, even on weekends. Don’t miss this place!“

“An excellent organized tour of the installations followed by a free tasting of all of the house’s very varied range makes this a must visit if you’re into cider.“

“If you want a crash-course in Cider history in Quebec, tour probably the nicest cidery in the province, check out the awesome gooseneck, and sample ciders that are for the most part above average with a few really great ones, this is the place to go. They specialize in methode Champenoise sparkling ciders, but have branched out with ice ciders and a pretty solid Calvados. The staff is quite savvy and is fun to talk to. I’ve taken a busload of friends on a tour of the area for the cidre et crepes weekend for the past 5 years now, and this place is usually is the favorite year in, year out. Prices are pretty much identical than at the SAQ, but you do get a discount if you buy cases, and they offer a few ciders that are only sold in-house. Highly recommended.“

“Je l’ai visité pour la première fois cette autonne durant la saison des pommes. La cidrerie à l’air assé simple avec Rougemont drerière eu et les Appalaches devant. Ils ont presque tout à dégusté et on peut tout acheter. Je n’ai pas faite la visite guidé (trop de touriste japonais) et non plus le rendonné pédestre derrière la cidrerie, un parcours de 3 km. On va y retourner.“

“They provide a great tour of the very picturesque cellar. The tasting room is stocked full - though the serving samples are very small (1oz). My favourites are the Rosalie (4.1) and Cidre de Glace (4.3). On Pancake Day they make a mighty good pancake!“
