Terdeghem Beer Guide: Your Terdeghem guide to beer, beer bars, breweries and brewpubs

Latest reviews from Terdeghem

“Called in for a quick half en route to family who live nearby. Small village estaminet in Terdeghem run by two brothers who were both serving when I was there. Has a typically simple, rustic set-up with no music and plenty of locals / families catching up over a beer. There’s definitely a larger amount of beer on offer here compared to other estaminets in the region. 5 on draft including 3 Monts, Hommelbier & Saison Dupont, with around 40 bottles available. In addition to the standard beer menu there’s a board on the wall listing some new or special releases including some from new local brewery Au Pif. Friendly staff. Worth a visit.“

“In the centre of a village not far from Cassel in the département du Nord’s fabulous, under-recognised beer belt. It will not win prizes for design but it might for ambience. About 30 beers, mostly local-ish, food that is far better than it should be and a genuinely interested (and surprised) welcome.“

“Great local Estaminet run efficiently by two brothers. Since taking over this old bar in the pretty village of Terdeghem near Cassel, they have been gradually putting their own mark on the place, and whlst retaining the locals, they have also attracted beer lovers from further afield. They combine great beers with good ambiance and food ranging from delicious Croques through ’cheese and meat boards’ to wholesome daily specials. Two taps are normally reserved for Dupont and Van Eycke, and the bottled selection offers plenty of French and Belgian independants. Also makes for a perfect stop on a circular walk from Cassel!“
