Open till late, not very high prices (for the very expensive, beer-wise, France), right in the city center, friendly and serviceable staff... and then, of course, a nice seleciton of ales and lagers, both local and from abroad. Oh, and quite a lot of bourbon, rye and scotch.
Not many taps (six, as far as I remember) but decent choices and a nice ambiance. If in town, drop by.“ |

Large area with self service only. About 10 draft beers including the blond and red Delirium Tremens. A loud place, not very comfortable. Every order has to be paid separately and service was not too attentive. Had no food, believe you can order crepes on a separate counter. Beer quality is great, ambiance and service are mediocre. Nothing for Ben.“ |

Additionally, they have approximately 30 bottles and serve cold tapas. More a bar with good beer than a bar focused solely on beer but definitely not a bottle shop. Worth a visit when you are around albeit a little pricey.“ |

They have a nice selection of Belgian and French beers along with a decent selection of different European brewers with some beers you would not expect. In total approximately 400 bottles. Only a few beers from oversea. Additionally, they offer 8 taps (mostly french) and have some bottles and cans cooled. The guy there was friendly and helpfull and seemed really passionate about beer. Small but nice place with a good selection - I enjoyed my visit.“ |

The name Barallel is a play on words on the parallel between wine and beer as the place also offer a wide selection of natural wine that can be recommended by the sommelier of the staff. The staff knows how to talk you through styles and recomdations, and the house beer are innovative for the french scene. Food is simple (cheese or meat platter, salmon, bread). Really recommend keeping an eye on this in the next years !“ |

The new selection is honestly world class with the addition of : Brew by number, Magic Rock, Beavertown, Traquair, Balladin, Del Ducato, De molen, Mikkeler, , Siren, Anchor, Evil Twin, Trou du diable, Dieu du ciel, Naparbier, and the french classics, la debauche, matten, la goutte d’or, la Correzienne.
The shop has a nice atmosphere to it and the service is nice and knowledgeable. 100% a must visit if you are in town.“ |
