100 /100 Drink Biggleswade (Beer Store) 2 STATION CHAMBERS, STATION ROAD Biggleswade has been crying out for a decent craft beer bar & i’m so glad they are here. Great selection of beers on draft and in the fridges. What makes this place is the friendly staff who go out of there way to welcome you and pick out some great beers! |
70 /100 Drink Biggleswade (Beer Store) 2 STATION CHAMBERS, STATION ROAD Newly opened on my visit. They have 6 keg lines on and 150 bottles in the fridge. Plenty of Tring beers available. |
94 /100 Crown Hotel (JDW) (Bar) 23 HIGH STREET The best beer in Biggleswade yesterday was had here. We chose from the guests available Dorset Midnight Blinder, Conwy San Francisco and Sambrooks Wandle. This JDW only opened in 2017 and was very popular with a lovely outside seating area entered through an archway from the street and then into the bar on the left. Open plan kitchen area viewed at the rear of the pub. |
46 /100 Rose (Bar) 75 HIGH STREET Called into this pub yesterday and found only a couple of ales on. We chose the Adnams Ghostship which was not in the best condition. |
56 /100 White Hart (Greene King) (Bar) 22 - 24 MARKET SQUARE Called into this Greene King pub yesterday and found no Abbot, but they had IPA, London Glory, and Speckled Hen. We had the London Glory and got CAMRA discount, but it was not in the best condition. Very busy with food orders. |
66 /100 71 HIGH STREET Not a lot of new beers in this town centre pub but we enjoyed our Tring Ridgeway. |
62 /100 Kings Reach (Restaurant) POTTON ROAD One of the McMullen Chicken and Grill Pubs.
New modern built pub with a restaurant and a bar lounge where you can also eat. All the 4 cask pumps are McMullen with the 4 keg taps are also McMullen. |
50 /100 Stratton House Hotel (Bar) LONDON ROAD Hotel bar with 5 cask pumps and 10 keg taps. Food was available on our visit. Hotel priced. |
42 /100 Rose (Bar) 75 HIGH STREET On the corner of the high street. Has a large interior, has bands playing most Saturday nights. Usually only has 2 real beers on which mosts time I have been iin has been Doom Bar or Greene King IPA. |
44 /100 White Hart (Greene King) (Bar) 22 - 24 MARKET SQUARE Greene King pub situated in the high street, only seen 4 pumps of which 3 was Greene King beers, food was available, however service was a slow. |
70 /100 71 HIGH STREET Situated in the High street their is only one bar with six pumps, which only one was a Wells beer. Very clean place and does serve food. |
74 /100 71 HIGH STREET A Charles Wells ’Specialty Beer House’, set up the same as the Bedford Arms in Bedford. The Pheasant is a small traditionally laid-out pub serving six ales: three ubiquitous Wells & Youngs beers and three guests (including Holts, Buntingford, Summerskills and Great Newsome on my visit). Great service, with the best choice in a beer-deprived town. |
