“Quiet village local, lots of dark wood inside.. Four cask lines were available during my visit, the two halves I sampled were in decent condition, including one of the brewpubs own. Check opening hours if visiting as the details on Google Maps were incorrect.“

“This pub that features in the 2019 Good Beer Guide really is a true community local, and has a shop. It is a focal point for village activities, and various clubs meet up there. They have a couple of mini beer festivals and a cider festival. 4 real ales and a keg line available yesterday, and our Nene Valley was very good.“

“The epitome of a country pub. An actual proper freehouse with a penchant for both local and UK-wide products. Immaculate beer and cider, friendly conversation and lovely surroundings. An attached shop gives choice and convenience to the villagers, and the pub has a full calendar of events and specials. No meals apart from specially themed evenings but customers are allowed to order takeaways between 8 and 10.“
