68 /100 34 HIGH STREET Quiet village local, lots of dark wood inside.. Four cask lines were available during my visit, the two halves I sampled were in decent condition, including one of the brewpubs own. Check opening hours if visiting as the details on Google Maps were incorrect. |
74 /100 34 HIGH STREET This pub that features in the 2019 Good Beer Guide really is a true community local, and has a shop. It is a focal point for village activities, and various clubs meet up there. They have a couple of mini beer festivals and a cider festival. 4 real ales and a keg line available yesterday, and our Nene Valley was very good. |
80 /100 34 HIGH STREET The epitome of a country pub. An actual proper freehouse with a penchant for both local and UK-wide products. Immaculate beer and cider, friendly conversation and lovely surroundings. An attached shop gives choice and convenience to the villagers, and the pub has a full calendar of events and specials. No meals apart from specially themed evenings but customers are allowed to order takeaways between 8 and 10. |
