72 /100 Dysart Arms (Bar) BOWES GATE ROAD Discovered this place when the ambulance broke down and we were awaiting recovery. Used the facilities and got charged for a lemonade, which was a bit much considering the situation. It looked nice though and I went back for my birthday meal. Food is nice but pricey, traditional pub serving local cask ales. I would visit again for a special occasion |
70 /100 Dysart Arms (Bar) BOWES GATE ROAD Situated at the top end of the beautiful mid-Cheshire village of Bunbury, just sitting in the extensive well-kept garden opposite the local church would provide a worthwhile visit. This is very much a country pub but a less than obvious coaching inn given its in a building that blends in with the other large expensive homes in this area. It does have a stable building and the courtyard between here and the main building acts as the car park, although be careful on the turn in as there’s only a small entry gap between both. Inside this Brunning & Price pub serves its own ale and there’s a couple of modern comfortable rooms to sit in and enjoy food or drink. There’s a menu available as dining plays a large part of this pubs existence. Dogs are allowed that can add to the already comfortable and cosy setting. |
