“A bright, modern feeling pub but run with an old-school ethos and constant rotation of nine superbly kept cask ales. The staff are extremely friendly, especially the ebullient Ray, whose Thursday quiz nights are well worth a visit.“

“Traditional coaching inn building just off the main road in Disley. It’s a very comfortable place to drink, cosy and relaxing. It takes on its larger neighbour The Rams Head for providing top notch food. Serves real ale.“

“Large and the largest pub building amongst several and closest to the train station in the small town of Disley. As it’s right on the A6 there is a plenty of traffic this way going to or from the Peak District. It’s food oriented although a traditional pub setting with a modern but traditionally comfortable decor in several rooms or defined areas. It also has the capacity to hold functions. Being set close to the extensive grounds of Lyme Park its own garden area makes for a nice setting in this lush environment. It’s probably the most expensive place to dine in a pub environment in Disley but the food does satisfy. Real ales are available and they rotate.“
