“I saw there have been no recent ratings. Mark has completely remodeled the tap room so that it is now much larger than what the reviews or even the my place website indicate. Mark does a great job at having great beers on tap and he will often have something special in a cask. He also has a mailing list and will from time to time have special nights featuring a particular brewers beers. They have a nice menu of food to go along with the excellent beers as well. “

“I have been coming here for years prior to turning 21 years old and have always lover the food. They make some of the best pizza I have ever had, and thier entrees are decent as well. My buddy Nick introduced me to their bar area which I had never really payed much attention to in the past. What an introduction! Of all the times I have been there, I have always walked away with a new favorite brew. They have a great variety on tap that rotates every week and sometimes even throughout the night. The bartender, Mark, is very helpful and beer wise and often ready with a few free samples. Many great times and great laughs with the guys. This is THE place to go if your in the area. “This is the main store I go to in town for a good brew. They have an entire wall dedicated to mostly specialty beers and a pretty decent wine selection as well. The have a pretty diverce collection that includes imported as well as more localized brews. The people working there are very nice and are easy to deal with. I would not call this place particularly outstanding, but they are great for my needs and my place is only a two minute walk away if you something form the tap. Great place for a person like me who is just starting to get into specialty beers and wants to build thier repertoire. Reviewed on: 01-20-2007“

“Found some beers I haven’t seen in other package stores in been to in the area, but nothing super special. The staff was knowledgeable though and they had two open bottles of beer for tasting.“

“Small selection of non mainstream beers. Staff was friendly but no one working in the beer area to ask questions of. I’ll probably stop here again but only because it is close. Nothing you couldn’t find at a local beer store that stocks craft beers.“

“I went here for pizza and beers one sunday. The margarita pizza was excellent. The bar area was pretty small. Good selection of beers and everything came in the proper glass, but a couple of taps were out and we finished off another before we left. Mark was willing to chat about beers while we drank. Cask beers are alos avaible here but the case was empty when we were there. Will have to return to this place when the taps change up.“

“We like to stop in for dinner after catching the Bridgeport/Port Jeff Ferry on our way to PA. The beer selection is usually only 4 or 5 on tap at any time, but the beers are rotated regularly so a return trip brings new brews. The pizzas are really quite good. The Margherita Pizza is a favorite. Real nice thin crust.“

“A great small town place in that there is a small but rotating tap list, cask ales, regular beer events and a nice bottle menu. Friendly staff and good food make this place a go to whenever meeting some of my friends from that part of the state.“

“A decent pizza joint, with some nice evening entree specials. The real quality of this place is hiding in a little closed off section near the entrance... a decked out tap room. Granted they only keep 5 to 6 beers on tap at any given time, but the selections range from Southampton to Saison to Dupont to Rodenbach. Plus they have a very nice bottle menu. The staff in the tap room is friendly and very knowledgable. Huge selection of proper glassware... usually they can find the glass that is specific to the brew you ordered.“

“This is predominantly a wine and hard liquor store, but they have a quaint yet respectable beer selection. All the usual NE and east coast Micros are there: New England, Thomas Hooker, DFH, Victory, with Rogue, Sam Adams specialties, and some Unibroue tossed in. Nice German choices. This is nowhere close to being a staple "go-to" store, but you may find one or two things you’re looking for here. And if you can’t find what you’re looking for, you can always just hike down to My Place in the same plaza.“

“A small store tucked away in a Stop and Shop plaza. Mostly a wine store, there is a decent selection of NE beers, as well as a decent array of Belgian and British imports. I didn’t need most of what they had, but if I were newer I probably would have gotten a lot out of it.“
