Olde world comfortable, there is a separate bar from the Restaurant area. Certainly the best choice in town, but very quiet on our visit. Reasonable beer choice made up of reasonably local breweries.“ |

It’s still excellent, choice of 8 real ales usually on and they are predominantly local to the pub. Easy to get to from the M6 and a good pit stop if travelling up or down said motorway.“ |
