“Enjoyed our visit last month to this pub with a good choie of beer available. There were a lot of empty handpulls, and I was told these come in use when there are beer festivals. We selected and enjoyed Yard of Ale Tardbird, Roundhill Billas Bitter and Roundhill Sorachi and Coe.“

“Called in last month and there was only one cask beer available, Camerons Strongarm. We had half pints then were amazed to see the pints that chaps were getting with a head rising over the rime of the glass by a good 2 or 3 inches!!“

“I’ve added this place as it’s in the 2015 edition of the GBG! There is 1 handpull. Cameron’s Strongarm and it’s probably worth a visit to see the dispense of it! Half pints in a pint glass are stored in the fridge behind the bar with a decent sized head. You order a pint and they top it up to a pint and the head is the largest you’ve ever seen! Apparently this is how the locals like it. I defy you to try and drink it without looking like Father Christmas! A real throwback of a pub“

“Small friendly traditional one room pub with three hand-puled beers, one Camerons Strongarm and two guest beers (one is usually Black Sheep), plus the other usual beers, lagers and ciders. Regular quiz night, and music jam sessions, also the meeting place for the Headland Photography Group. “
