64 /100 100 OLDFIELD LANE Pequeña fabrica, dispone de una pequeña tienda para comprar varias de sus cervezas. |
50 /100 100 OLDFIELD LANE Visited twice: it is a small room above the brewery but has no license to sell alcohol to be consumed on the premises. Stocks their beers plus some ’Lymm Brewing’ bottles (same company I believe) and jars of beery mustard etc, etc. Neat, clean and tidy but as they can’t let you taste anything there: apart from their annual Barbecue, when they invite their local CAMRA group over for a bevvy or two, I am not sure how to score it really, as a store it’s selection is poor apart from their own beers and as a brewery it fails to let me have a taste! |
66 /100 100 OLDFIELD LANE This place is well sign posted in the area, and opposite the tall walls that define the National Trust’s Dunham Massey House and Gardens. When you reach it, it is an eye opener of how small a brewery can be. The brewery itself is s small converted barn with the brewing taking place on the ground floor level and the small shop upstairs through a creaky wooden door. The staff are often busy sorting out orders or accounts, but there is an Ikea type shelf that displays the ales for you to browse and a till to process your order... job done!
