58 /100 Noel Arms (Bar) HIGH STREET One of a few smart hotels in the centre of Chipping Campden but the only place open for a beer on a Monday lunch time post Covid19 re opening. It's smart and brash, aiming for a certain type of clientele but friendly enough and got itself a decent little crowd in with a jolly atmosphere in reward for its efforts. Eye wateringly expensive for beer, but it was well kept and local, they have avoided the Doomed Bar route which is a bonus. |
70 /100 Eight Bells Inn (Bar) CHURCH STREET Called into this 2018 Good Beer Guide pub while on a coach trip round Gloucestershire pubs. Although there was a decent selection of ales on the bar it is very much a food pub with tables having reserved notices on them, although they did put a time on so it was possible to sit at them. Much better than some today where tables were set up for food and drinkers could not use them. Our beer of choice here was the North Cotswold Cotswold Best which was fine. |
58 /100 Kings Hotel (Bar) THE SQUARE I enjoyed my time here. Small bar but big garden in which to enjoy the sunshine. Beer well kept. Staff attentive and friendly. |
68 /100 Eight Bells Inn (Bar) CHURCH STREET nice pub off the main drag. Quaint, four or 5 handpulls, didnt eat but judging on the look of the place , i bet the food is pretty good |
70 /100 Eight Bells Inn (Bar) CHURCH STREET This was one of several Public Houses in Chipping Campden that I visited on recent trip. Friendly, historic, appropriate style and good food. |
