22 /100 HOPS HOUSE, SETLEY FARM, LYMINGTON ROAD Open all day, but really only useful for picking up beer - not really that cool to stay and drink, unless you're with someone, because there will be nobody else, no internet access, and nothing to see or do. You sit in a gazebo by the car park. Ho hum. No food, just packets of crisps. And even supplies or beers are limited. Not attractive or welcoming. Because of where it is, and the lack of availability of the beers, best to check first, or order online. The New Forest has some amazing pubs, better to visit some of those than come here and drink the bland keg beer. |
54 /100 HOPS HOUSE, SETLEY FARM, LYMINGTON ROAD Signposted off the main road south of the small town of Brockenhurst, but a 'pig' to get to by foot as the fast road only has a verge. There is a scenic walk via the beautiful church and wood south-east of the station then heading to the brewery from its south. Once there a small shop and office is where you can buy or get your ales poured. The brewing takes place behind this and an erected marquee covering is where you can do your on-site drinking. |
