56 /100 Waterfront (Bar) THE BEACH The seafront here is at a lower level to the houses along the main road along this stretch of coast in the town so this venue is accessed down some steps from a small park running between the two - and you may not spot the promenade at all from the road in the summer when the fauna is at its most full. Situated in a nautically painted purpose built restaurant with extensive sea views, it is bright and airy on the inside with a long modern conservatory section where everyone sits as this is where you are closest to the sea. It's mainly a food place but two Island Brewery ales are available at the bar. There's a patio directly next to the entrance and some above the building on the hillside and steps - all offering further fine views of the sea and pier along the promenade with parking. |
