“Great little Micropub on the station platform bijou but that's part of the appeal 4hp and two new breweries for me only had time for a quick pint as driving but combined well with a booths raid that is round the corner.“

“Visited on 23rd April 2017. In the main station building on the old, closed West Coast main line platforms (and not near the Brief Encounter cafe) this is an L shaped, single roomed micropub, Had 4 casks beers plus a decent little range of bottles and cans. Seating is high tables. Some locals had food sharing event on and the place and staff were friendly. Prices and beer quality were good. A really decent Micropub and worth the stop.“

“Excellent micropub just across from the equally excellent Carnforth railway station & heritage centre. Keeps to micropub tradition: one small room with about 15 seats, no music with a focus on real ale from small local breweries. They also have an excellent selection of bottles from Hardknott, Stone, Boon and Marble. Watch the opening hours incase you miss a train (or two).“
