“Two warnings about this place: it's very dear, and it's a good 15 minute walk out of Quorn proper. Otherwise this is a surprisingly nice place. Very much a gastro pub, but the beer selection is not terrible, with a Rudgate and Charnwood beer alongside Draught Bass on cask, and a couple decent if a bit boring choices on keg (Camden Hells and the like but remember this is Quorn). And they had Boddington's on keg to complete that retro feel.“

“This pub is very modern and refurbished from whatever it once was. I certainly could have done with a decent beer choice instead of the four nationals on cask (Wainwright, Doom Bar, Directors and something else not great). Served too cold but drinkable once it warmed up. Barmaid served me in as unfriendly a manner possible without being overtly objectionable. Football louts at the table across from me being very homophobic and very loud. Not the pub's fault but obviously a world away from my inclusive Leicester bars. I think I may have caught them on a bad night but on first glance it's not a pub for me.“

“Decent enough pub-cum-eatery in the large village of Quorn. It is a bit old-fashioned in layout and decor but the back room (and loos) look a little bit more modern. All in all it's nicely looked after without losing its soul to mega-renovation. Roaring fire which is always welcome in the winter. It's Everards, and the beer selection is on the conservative side so no new ticks for me although my pint of Pheasantry Dancing Dragonfly was well served. Barman initially got my order wrong but was affable so no biggie. Reasonable price for the quasi-countryside. Looks like they have live music frequently. Not a bad place but not one to rush out to either.“

“A large hotel on the main road through Quorn, attracts an older clientele for lunches and dining. An M&B pubco with a boring beer range. Lovely stone floor though.“

“This is the oldest pub in Quorn and appears to be the pub for the locals. Less of an eaterie than the others, there are darts and other pub games available. The beer range is quite limited unfortunately. Friendly place though.“

“Large rambling smart eaterie cum pub at Quorn Cross, appears to be the venue for music in town. The range was completely Everards or variants on my visit. It's okay.“

“Large modernised rather grand lodging house close to the steam railway, just across the road. Smart and quite foodie in character with pleasant gardens housing a private Tennis Club. There is a small range of local beers, nothing too exciting unfortunately.“
