74 /100 1014 SR 436 Was in area for first time. A strip mall in kind of a desolate little area. Cozy inside. Decent amount of taps I would’ve like to try. Friendly server. Grabbed a six pack to go they had two choices. The few beers I’ve had from them were decent enough. |
80 /100 1014 SR 436 This is now the closest brewery to me (by about half a mile lol - but not for long, I understand another is opening up real close). Anyway, I need to get back here and try their regular lineup, I came for the SourFest and the beers were OK (all suffered from the kitchen sink approach to sours that I see too often, but that is my own peculiar complaint). I want to see how they do with regular beers. It's pretty small inside, but I kinda like it, it's very low key and unpretentious, and it smells like a brewery, which i actually enjoy, that mix of yeast, wort, and sanitizer. It's in a weird spot, a half-dead strip mall plaza, on a busy road in Casselberry, which is kind of a town you just drive through to get somewhere more interesting. But so far so good with Bowigens. |
84 /100 1014 SR 436 Small brewery in a strip mall, but a very nice lineup of beers. They brew a wide range of styles and do samplers. Staff is informed and very attentive. Can get very busy on Friday Saturdays, but a nice place to visit if you are in the area. |
