“Huge place with a big diverse menu of a variety of cuts including lamb and venison. Everything was cooked well and service was above average. Beer selection is okay, and theirs are just average as is normal for these types. Good place to eat and drink mass quantities of pretty good stuff.“

“Big liquor/wine/beer store in the busy heart of Destin. Lots of craft but be warned the huge majority is only available in six pack format. Much of the stuff that was available as singles were Euro imports—not of interest to me. Staff explained that its “unprofitable” for them to split. I picked up a few singles from the discount shelf. For a ticker, this place can’t compete with Kelley’s over in Fort Walton, which has a selection just as big if not bigger and with far more singles.“

“Big store next to the Craft Bar in the giant Commons shopping center. Clean, simple store. The employees were friendly and helpful. Great spread of beers - one of the best I've found in the area. Good prices, but not great. Most things I know the price of were marked up a bit. Great shop, and the place to go for something specific.“

“Big bar area, and quite busy. The bartender was a little surly and confused, but it was nearly closing time. He was helpful enough. Big selection, but not a whole lot special or that interesting. The prices are very high, as you'd expect in this area. Still, this is a good place to visit, if you're looking for good beer on tap in Destin.“

“Big store, with a nice taproom area in the back. The workers were slow and looked tired. A nice spread of taps, and the single can selection is excellent. The prices are reasonable for the area, as far as I can tell. This is a good place to shop, but not really the best experience.“

“Big, varied restaurant and bar, with assorted, affiliated touristy shops scattered around. The main bar area is dark, kinda loud, and buzzing. The dollar bills hanging from everywhere make it look like the whole place is furry, which is strange. They have 8 house beers on, no guest taps, and only one of their beers is a seasonal, or otherwise non-standard. Fabulous steak! Everyone else was complimentary of their food, too. The beer is pretty cheap, and even better during happy hour. This is a fun stop, and a cool place, but not really a beer geek destination.“

“On a given day this store has the best selection of any I’ve ever been to. Their bomber selection is just ridiculous. At one point when I was there they had 5 beers from Cantillon. No one else in the entire Panhandle gets anywhere near that. Nate the beer guy is very knowledgeable and the rest of the staff are very helpful. If you are near Destin this is a must visit store.“

“Typical ABC. Small, but decent selection of beer. The singles are severely lacking, but I believe (don’t quote me) that they allow you to break sixers apart. Price is average to high. Service is lacking and sometimes flippant. Not to mention a couple employees feel that they are being interrupted from their phones when you approach their open register. But the ones that do help at least attempt to actually help. I say ones, but it is really just one. They also feel bothered if you ask them to check in the cooler for something. If they would just allow customers to go into it they wouldn’t be bothered. Every other place up here lets you go into the cooler. Oh well, like I said; typical ABC.“

“Visited regularly for the last few years, just finally adding the Destin location. Like their other location and other stores in town, I always stop in here when I have a gig over on this side of Destin as opposed to FWB. This is near Chan’s and you can hit both easily. The benefit of Beach is that you can get singles whereas Chan’s doesn’t like you to break the six packs. Decent selection, nothing crazy, a few taps, friendly service. Better than your average panhandle store. I stop by every time I’m in the area for sure.“

“Visited on a Friday evening and the place was hopping. Bar area is kind of small, but found a spot. Nice, varied selection. Most everything is available in 4 oz. samples or 16 oz. pours, or crowlers to go. They could really use a half-pint option. Though, knowing Florida, that’s probably illegal. Prices are a bit high.Everything I tried was poured ice cold into an ice cold glass. Which seems to appeal to the main audience. Plenty of table seating. Good variety of food, but also high prices. I don’t recommend bothering with the salads. A large gets you a giant plate of greens with no extra meat or anything. I had a burger at a different location and it was fantastic. Food rating is based on that experience. Service was friendly. “

“Jesus christ what a fucken mess. Attached to their bar/restaurant The Craft Bar. Entrance to the shop is kind of hidden. As far as beer is concerned, it’s mostly just piled up around the store. They have a great selection, local, national, and international, but there’s no organization. A small fraction of the beer is refrigerated. No employee interaction while confusedly browsing the beer. Overall employees were very stand-offish. Prices are decent. I’m only visiting the area, and I’ve had a better experience at the local Winn Dixie. I guess if you’re local and looking to score rare brewkis, this is the place to go for better or worse.“

“Standard Mellow Mushroom. Sometimes my condo for orch gigs is next door, so we end up there. Love the buffalo chicken calzone and they usually have a good selection of localish and FL beers. Kinda pricey, usually college aged kids as wait staff who don’t know the beer well. I will likely keep stopping in!“

“Great food, even better beer. The guys at the Craft Bar get some rare kegs that can’t be found anywhere else along the coast. At least 1-2 sours on the wall at all times, love this place. Tap takeovers probably once a month with some outstanding breweries. See something you really like?, take it home in a Crowler.“

“The go to place for beer on the Emerald Coast. Randy and Nate are the extremely knowledgeable beer geeks. If this Wine World doesn’t have it, it usually can’t be found in the area. Right next door is the outstanding Craft Bar w/ crowler system, win/win.“

“A welcome place to hang out in a beer desert. Prices are higher than the other welcome place WoB. And on average higher than anyone else, just like their retail place attached (which is always 50 cents to a dollar higher than everyone around?) Friendly staff. 10 buck corkage fee if you want to have better beer.“

“Stopped in recently, coincidentally right after they opened, and I was happily surprised as I was sort of ready to be disappointed. I’ve been to a few of these and it’s always the same shit, but this place had a good selection of locals and the staff were really on the ball for being brand new. I loved the iPads sitting around with their taplist, etc... it made it SUPER easy and fun to browse beers, especially using their filters. Great beer, pretty decent food, lots of fun. It’s really new and nice and clean, otherwise sort of chainy. I will go back for sure.“

“I visit this place basically every time I’m in Destin (at least once a month for gigs) and I have to say it’s become a must stop for me. Fantastic beer selection and really great food.

Great ambiance - upscale American, dim lighting, very nice inside, very clean, nice outdoor seating, though usually smokers there (not the bar’s fault).

Prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service every time I visit.

One of the best draft selections I’ve seen in Destin for sure.

The food is awesome. It is pricey but worth it. Myself and my friends have never been disappointed.

The is pushing the expensive side for sure, but they know they have a market for having the best stuff in town. The food is expensive but damn good, worth it in my opinion.

Overall, this has become a must stop every time I’m in Destin. Awesome selection of draft and bottles, great store next door (same owners, apparently), and fantastic food. Insiders tip, sometimes they have a deal going if you buy something at the store (you will) you get buy one get one free draft beer at the bar. Love this place!“

“Probably the best selection of beers on draft anywhere nearby. Great selection every time I’ve been here. Beers that are not available in this area for distribution. I’m not sure how they acquire some of these, but I thank them. Prices reflect rarity and the extra effort they had to go through to acquire them however. Good food menu, although I’ve never tried much more than a plate of cheeses. Only real drawback to the place is there is no sound absorption material inside so when it is full of people it gets extremely noisy.“

“A great bottle shop in the area. An excellent selection, for the area, of beers that line the West side of the store. You can create your own 6-pack and don’t forget to check inside the cooler, sometimes good beers get tucked away inside and forgotten. There is also a little bistro attached that serves fine cheeses and food as well as pints. Employees are usually extremely helpful and friendly.“

“Out of the 3 Chan’s that I’ve been too this is far and away the best. Lots of high abv gems no available in ga. Not friendly but not rude staff. Just didn’t seem to want to talk beer at all. Will be hitting this place up if within a 30 minute drive.“

“Chose this place while in Destin area for a week based on reviews. While the beer selection is the best in the area, finding fresh offerings, especially of "hoppy" brews was a challenge. The place may be good for its area, but overall, below average. Worth stopping in if in area, but by no means would I drive an hour to patronize them. Also, a bit pricey.“

“Very cool place. Nice layout. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Restrooms are very clean and stylish. Customer service is knowledgable and friendly. An excellent selection of craft brews: warm, cold, singles, packs. Some rare imports outside of usual distribution. Exciting to see what you might run across. Ample selection of in distribution hot beers: Sucks, Mephistopheles, etc. More meads, cuvées, and geuzes than I’ve ever seen. Prices are fair. There’s a wine bar where seating is available for sampling cheeses and wines. A cigar humidor is located on the opposite side of the wine bar.“

“Visited for the first time 12/19/2013 or so. A little hard to find if you don’t know where you’re going, but that’s not their fault. Typical wine/liquor store ambiance. Well-lit, friendly workers, various signs and posters on the wall, etc. The staff was helpful and friendly, commented on my selections, etc.

I was pleasantly surprised by their selection. I am consistently surprised by places in Destin every time I visit for orchestra gigs. I will be making a stop here as I go by every time I visit for sure.“

“This is the best beer store in the area. Store is a wine store with a small section of beer. Staff was enthusiastic about beer and mead. A nice feature is they have a wine bar attached that carries 5 draft craft beers and 1 B Nektar mead.“

“I took the drive to this place while I was staying at Eglin AFB and I am glad I did. The first impression of this store gives you the idea that it’s like any other bottle shop, but then you soon discover they have a tap system to try several beers and fill growlers. Their beer selection was amazing. The owner is from Atlanta and tries to get a lot of beers that you don’t normally find in Florida. The rarity of beers was impressive to me and I loved the selection of Terrapin and even Redlight Redlight Zwanze beers. The owner was extremely helpful and seemed truly passionate about the beers in his store. $200 later, I walked out of this place and I cannot wait to stop by there again.“

“A standard tourist brew pub on the beach. The microbrews are decent, but nothing to write home about. The food is okay. The pub has a great atmosphere, with live music and fun decor. Service was pretty good. Went on a Friday night and the place was packed. People seemed to enjoy this pub. It’s worth a visit if there isn’t a crowd, but don’t bother if there’s a long wait.“

“Decent store with a decent selection of cooled and warm beers, most of the bombers are sitting in the window being blasted with the sun all day long, though they have an overhang now that blocks some of it. All the craft is prominently displayed in the coolers and on the shelves. The macros are mostly hidden away in the beer cave - which is smaller now due to the addition of their overpriced bar. Decent selection of growlers to go, though I didn’t get any on my first few visits - and haven’t on subsequent visits as they somehow haven’t gotten any in from their supplier for almost a year now. Service has been declining, as well as friendliness. Selection is still decent if you like paying more than stores less than a mile down the road.“

“Double story Irish pub with dollar bill wall paper - begging you to rip them off the wall. Service was very friendly and attentive, knew what was on tap and how to serve it. Selection was limited to their beers on tap, but none of them were horrible. fresh if nothing else. Food was decent, 18 cent soup and plenty of Irish fare, nicer cuisine, and bar food. Value was average for the booze, food was what you would expect for the area if not a little skewed for tourists in areas. Nice place to stop by when in Destin, would like to check out the actual brewery in Pensacola if I get the chance.“

“Nice setup for a liquor store with table set up for tastings and there little food market they have in the corner. Service was friendly but inattentive, no real help so can’t judge their knowledge. Selection was great, lots of stuff that I haven’t seen in other places. Did not try the food, but other people were there for that solely. Average value for the area with a 20% off shelf of out of season beer. Definitely worth a stop if you are passing through town, probably the best selection in the area.“

“Wow what a place, very packed on a Saturday night, but very expected. Dollar bills hanging from every inch of the place. Huge seating areas that accommodated a party of two within 15 minutes. Server was nice and friendly, wasn’t to assure of herself on the beer. Food was some of the biggest portions I have ever had and left me with a few more meals. Beer was true to styles and enjoyable. “The place looks huge from the outside, and it takes a minute to adjust the eyes to the dim, red lighting. I sat at the bar and just looked around. The place was entirely covered with dollar bills and bras in just about every inch of ceiling. The food portions were unbelievable; ginormous. The beer is sessionable and considering the styles available, is pretty great. The stout is a great stout and the porter is pretty awesome. A great stop whenever there is a reason to be in Destin.“

“Stopped in here while on vacation to look for some good Florida beer, but was disappointed to find that their regional variety was pretty limited. They seemed to have a good selection from Terrapin Beer Co., but they only had two beers from Cigar City on the shelves, and not the staple beers (Jai Alai IPA) that that I figured they’d have. Having done my research on the FL beers ahead of time, I’d say their in-state selection makes up less than 5% of their overall selection, most of the rest consists of stuff you can typically find all over the country (Sierra Nevada, Bell’s, etc.). Anyhow, the guys in the store were very attentive, helpful, and seemed pretty knowledgeable. I don’t think this place is fantastic by any means, but having visited a good number of liquor stores in the Destin area, this place easily has the best selection.“

“Been here a few times on visits to the beach. They have wine and beer along with a meat/cheese deli. I was mainly looking for beer though and they have 200ish (never good at guessing). There were the usual micros available in FL with a lot of strange ones we don’t typically get over in Tallahassee -- Thomas Creek, Choc, Napa Smith and a new local appropriately titled: Grayton. Other notables for me were - several The Bruery, a few Brew Dogs, oak UnEarthly. They also had several singles I hadn’t tried from a strange mix of countries. Don’t think any of them were highly rated, but kudos for the range.“

“McGuire’s is the ONLY microbrewery in Destin; which is a plus. The seasonal brews can definitely be worth my while, but the standard brews (although correct by style guidelines) tend to be a little boring for me. Millennium is my favorite seasonal and their Porter is my go-to standard beer. Mug Club on Wednesday is a great time to drink $1 beers! Food here is great. Some of the best burgers and reuben sandwiches in town and the steaks are the best value for legitimate Prime meat in the area.“

“Stopped by while doing an orchestra gig in the area, and was pleased with the place.

A nice little pub setting, but weirdly covered in dollar bills. It’s like they’re begging you to rip them off the walls.

The bartender when we were there on a Thursday night was awesome. He was prompt, funny, kind, and knew at least basic knowledge about their brews. There was a girl bartender there as well who knew quite a bit less, but she was still friendly and prompt.

Their selection is limited, I guess... their brews and macros, but still... you go there for one of those two things.

Didn’t try the food, if they even have any.

Decent prices. $3.50-$4 a pint for their brews.

Overall, I’m sure it’s one of the better bars to stop at in the Destin area. The beers aren’t going to blow you away, but you’re going to have an awesome time if you try, and it’s a pretty fun place!“

“Went to this one to go try Tom’s(the brewmaster)beers! Atmosphere: Same as all of them. Attempting to capture the Irish pub feel with dollar bills EVERYWHERE. Quality: The beers served were incredible. Tom does a great job with his beers. I especially enjoyed the barley wine. Don’t just go by the menu. Always ask if they have something special on draft. Service: Fantastic. Food: Food was great. My family loved the food and the price is reasonable. Definitely a place to go here in the Panhandle. The ONLY brewpub there is. “
