| 66 /100 Bull, Broughton (Bar) BROUGHTON “On the southern side of the main road with parking both in front and behind the lovely old stone building, this is a wonderful setting for a drink or to dine at. If the weather is fine the terrace at the rear of the building will fill up fast as it offers beautiful views across the small grassy and wooded valley that is on the cusp of the Broughton Hall Estate. Inside, the historic building includes stone floors and open fires, although the decor is a little more updated inside than you might expect but it works well, There’s a central to the building square service area that includes four hand pumps including local ales that rotate. The seating areas are all around this in defined areas, although the place is open plan. On busy days there’s lots of staff and they’ll provide table service. The food is excellent.“ |
