“Really traditional pub in the middle of nowhere, owned by Hook Norton but run in his own inimitable way by local legend Mick the Hat. There are 3 Hook Norton beers on offer, all straight from the barrel where Mick has to go down the cellar, so get your order straight before dispatching him. This is a no frills pub but well worth visiting showing how village boozers used to be. Great place.“
