Very dark with a small tan head. A quick whirl leaves a bit of lacing on the glass. Chocolate, dark fruit cake and Madeira in the aroma. Medium sweet, some roasted bitterness and slightly sour. Pours black with low tan head, bit of lacing. Aroma of smoked wood, leather, bacon, german sausage. Taste is roasted malt, balanced sweet and bitter. Somewhat abrupt finish with lingering smoke. Body a tad too light.
