Very dark with a small tan head. A quick whirl leaves a bit of lacing on the glass. Chocolate, dark fruit cake and Madeira in the aroma. Medium sweet, some roasted bitterness and slightly sour. Hints of vanilla and liquorice. Low carbonation, medium to full body.

Bottle. Nice creamy head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, oak, vanilla, chocolate, coffee and hops. Nice and creamy.

Sampled at SBWF11 Dark brown. Bubbly head. Slightly roasted aroma and a lot of alcohol. Pretty light body. Chocolate and ashes in the flavour. Vinous.
