Pours a black colour. Taste is of roasted malts, cereal and dry. Tasted at Manchester Beer and Cider Festival 2018

Ruby/black, creamy beige head. Coffeeish nose. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Earthy and somewhat lactic with some hard roasted coffee. Fairly low bitterness.

Tasty porter with coffee prominent and some chocolate. Enjoyable. Malty and full of flavour

Bottle from the café at Bantry House in Bantry - one of Ireland’s cutest country houses and worth viewing by anyone with a soul. Too sweet and caramelled but otherwise a big-tasting porter for its restrained strength.

Bottle: Van Moll Shaker: Ruby black beer. Small creamy head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, manure... Flavour is thinnish: roast, chocolate, bitters, some coffee, some toffee... Aftertaste is bitter, roast, coffee and chocolate. Low carbo, watery mouthfeel, medium bodied.

Unclear dark beer with a small beige head that goes away quickly. Tastes dark malts, espresso, chocolate, a little bitter hops and sweet fruit. Slightly bitter aftertaste.
