COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available in 500ml cans (Finland - probably produced by Hartwall) and in 300ml bottles (UK - probably produced alongside Foster lager at Royal)

Foster’s Radler is the new refreshment beer that combines Foster’s lager with lemon. It is an incredibly refreshing new taste with a cloudy new look. It may appear a little different but that’s because new things often do!

Pop Radler in the fridge and serve ice cold when you want to take things that little bit easier, at home or when you’re out with friends.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2018 500 ml can. Aroma: lemonish. Appearance: matt, hazy and yellow. Small vanishing white head. Taste: moderate sweet, citric and fruity. Hints of malt. Palate: light body. Watery texture. Moderate carbonation. Very easy drinking, like lemon juice. Refreshing. Nicely low alcohol.

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2017 Not a lot to say about this one. Cloudy lemonade pour, lemony aroma. On the taste it’s sweet lemons with a hint of lime. Thin body, moderate carb. Basic but thirst quenching. It has its place, possibly not a beer rating site. But I’ve had worse

Well it is what is! If I rate it as a beer, then it's pretty poor. However, as a lemonade based slightly alcoholic drink, it suffices as a thirst quencher at a BBQ of summer party. Bit like cheap cloudy lemonade that your Dad had laced with a drop of cheap canned lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Hazy pale yellow body with a short-lived white head. Lively fizz. No lacing. Aroma of lemon juice and Jelly Babies. Flavour of artificial lemon with a hint of Lager. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Sweet and cloying.

330 ml clear bottle in Scotland with a BB date of 7/2017. 2% ABV. Looks like watery, unfiltered lemonade. Simple but appealing lemony aroma. Tastes like watery, unfiltered lemonade with a touch of lime. Very easy drinking with good, near equal sweet-tart balance.

alexmate (630) - South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2016
UPDATED: JUN 11, 2019 Probably the best out of a bad bunch as far as UK radlers go. Has a cloudy, haze appearance of artificial yellow. Taste and aroma of cloudy lemonade, the lager taste is well hidden, but typically sweet.

Just pure horrible. Smell and taste are very lemony. I can’t find beer in this one at all. It is like lemonade, not beer. I normally like lemon, but not in this one.

GoufCustom (3017) - HONG KONG - FEB 24, 2016

300 ml bottle bought at 7-Eleven in Lock Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Cloudy hazy lemon yellow colour with some suspended white particles; Less than one-quarter finger head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 15 seconds; Very good sticky lacing and slight carbonation; Fragrant aroma of lemon soda, lemonade, orange soda and sugar; Close to medium sweet taste of very light malt, with faint Shandy, lemon soda, orange soda, lime cordial and sugar; Light body. Watery but slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is almost lemonade with faint but detectable maltyness, with shades of Shandy to the tongue. Strong taste of lemon and orange soda with lime. Sweet but not cloying. Drinkable but… No hopiness whatsoever, just sweet artificial soda pop finish; Wet after taste. Very easy to mouth.

Comments: This much maligned Radler has every reason to be damned, namely not much malt, no hops, and just fake fruit soda combos of lemon, orange, lime and acerola cherry (what?). Favourable and poppy in an artificial way. Not all that offensive if you don’t mind too little beer in this one.
