UPDATED: APR 15, 2024 Old notes from my visit to Nicaragua in 2009. 330ml bottle. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of corn, grain & light malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish. Possibly only bottle I tried, as much preferred Tona

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2022 12oz Flasche us dem 99 Supermarkt in Panama. Gelbes klares Bier mit hellem festem Schaum. Stroh und Getreideduft. Geschmack etwas besser. Getreide und Gras. Flachherber Abgang. Gibt es aus dieser Weltregion auch mal schlimmer.

PowY (4562) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - JUN 6, 2018
350 ml bottle. Pours a clear light golden with a quickly disappearing white head. Lots of cardboard in the aroma, skunk, grains, corn syrup - really bad smell. Medium watery body with a fizzy carbonation, a medium sweetness and hardly any bitterness. Tons of cardboard in the flavor - it literally tastes like newspapers smell - some sweet grains, sweet cereals. Finishes with lots of unpleasantly cloying, syrupy flavors in the finish. Undrinkable, even cold on a pretty hot day!

Fles, alweer een aantal jaren geleden. Blijft natuurlijk een simpel lager, maar het heeft wel body en smaak; niet dat waterige van veel lagers, naar redelijk vol van smaak.

350ml bottle - dead up Heineken. Fresh but skunky. Best Nicaraguan beer by far on day of rating (no longer true) 7/3/6/3/13 After reading the reviews looks like mine was super fresh.

Watery, sweet and not much to this one. Drank this when I was in Nica. Matches well with gallo pinto

Another passable pale lager from Nicaragua. Malty, a bit sweet, pretty light and watery, but middle of the road for the ones I tried.
