Very light and very slightly opaque pale yellow. No head. Aroma is a little bit of spice and lemon. Taste is fairly hoppy, actually, with a moderate amount of tart citrus to back it up.

Troebel blond bier met weinig wit schuim. Geur: hoppig, fruitig, passievrucht, licht zurig, licht kruidig. Smaak: licht zuur, wat citroen thee. Weinig koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: licht zuur en ietwat bitter.

Bottle from Le Cave à Bulles in Paris. Light refreshing aroma of some spice and mild bitterness. Taste was rather pleasant consisting of an effervescent dry spiciness with a slight tart kick leading to a dry mildly bitter grassy finish from the hops. Pleasant and drinkable if not overwhelmingly complex.

Robe blonde aux reflets verts, fine mousse. Nez marqué par les notes de houblon, sur un fond d’agrumes, de fruits acidulés, belle complexité. Bouche à l’attaque acide typée berliner weisse, bulle fine et acidulée, finale houblonnée. Une belle berliner Weisse ou le houblon apporte la complexité. Bière de soif.

Bue en bouteille de 33cl. Blonde plate. Peu de CO2. Nez acide, peu de houblon. Palais acide principalement, légère, sans grand intérêt. Bof...

Pours cloudy light yellow with low white head. Aroma of cloudberries, grapes and grass. Taste is sour tart with a mild sweet finish. Light and smooth body with soft carbonation.

Clear pale yellow beer, practically no head. Aroma: very fruity, peaches, bit sweet, malty. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty acidic, malty, mineral character, salty touch. Aftertaste: citric acid, very mineral, bit salty, soapy finish.

Bottle sample @ Vini Birre Ribelli ’16. Dorée claire transparent, col blanc fin. Arôme au nez finement citrique, sour mash modéré rétro houblonné reste un peu faiblard. Palais sur base de Berliner qui est tjs solide, retrouve plus l’effet Mosaic et Chinook avec une teneur en bouche très sèche, herbacé et citronné avec une petite pointe agrumes et fruité. L’effet aigrelet est modéré sans virer dans ce que certains anglais font. Scores précédents ne font pas justice à cette bière qui reste correcte.

330 ml. bottle sampled @ Vini Birre Ribelli 2016. Paler citrus golden. Nose is weird mineral, chemical, spoiled fruit. Body is far too watery & the same goes for the taste. Lightly salty, chemical, lemon zest, spoiled fruit, lactic, mineral. Strange & far too watery for what it is. Their basic Berliner Weisse is much better than this. Maybe they tried to fix a batch? Still I don’t think that it is as awful as the other reviewers. It isn’t that great either & far too watery.
