UPDATED: FEB 16, 2022 All black with a huge beige head, durable then disappearing completely. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate-coffee, burnt and licorice. Taste is soft and creamy, very roasted with roundness. Oat work, dashes of sweet softness and chocolaty. Bitterness of roasted-torrefied braided with hop. Not bad.

Appearance: Very dark brown, near black. Huge amount of dark tan head.
Aroma: Dark malt, roasted, slight tar?
Taste: Dark malt, roasted, coffee. Slight burnt bitterness. Quite smooth.

from the Craft Beer festival Zurich - black beer with some particles floating within; dark beige foam; aroma of popcorn and roasted chocolate; a solid carbonation, some malt sweetness; grainy and bitter chocolatey finish

At Zurich Bier Festival 2017. Pours black. Aroma is sweet coffee. Some chocolate, very roasty. Body does not deliver the promises made, but the flavours pick up again towards the palate. So the mouth falls a bit flat, but this beer is good.
