UPDATED: APR 13, 2024 500ml can Colour is a clear dark golden colour with a four finger white head. Aroma is of caramel, malt, citrus, caramel, slightly sugary and syrupy, toffee and some notes of roasted malt. Taste is of malt, caramel, syrupy, toffee, citrus, grapefruit, banana notes and overall quite sweet and sugary. Slight alcohol burn. Soft and smooth mouthfeel and light carbonation. Overall a very interesting beer. Nice flavours but quite strong and sugary. Okay.

UPDATED: APR 5, 2024 500ml can. Crystal clear amber with a foamy white head. Flavors are sweet cereals, corn syrup, powdered sugar and alcohol with fruity and floral notes. Medium to full body, moderate to good carbonation, oily texture.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2024 0.5 can from a random store in Malta. From the can. Some citrusy and sugar aroma. Sweet, juicy taste, sugar, caramel, fruity, strong and heavy, yet smooth. Palate sweet caramel.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2023 Didn’t enjoy this beer. Plenty of other decent stronger beers around. Family brewery found guilty of price fixing by the European Parliament! Fined over 20 million euros…

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2023 Strong pale lager holandesa. Ambar claro. Espuma media relativamente densa que permanece algun tiempo. Gusto equilibrado tirando a dulce. Maiz, plátano, metalico. Sabor intenso, quizá tenga algun potenciador de sabor artificial. Esconde los 8.6 grados. Retrogusto acuoso algo dulce y seco. Una lager fuerte industrial con un sabor agradable pero que deja la sensacion de fabrica.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2023 Eindhoven 30/9 2023. 50 cl can AH Supermarket, Septemberplein, Eindhoven City Center. Dark blue can with a drawing of a growling wolf. Pours slightly clear golden amber with a small white head. Stable. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of. Aroma medium intense with a sweet malty, fruity fermented odor mingling with metallic alcohol. Sweet pale malts, bread. Chemical. A bit cloying. Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture. Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a sugary touch of alcohol. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry. More bearable than Bavaria’s 8.6 Extreme but also a bit more boring.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2023 Can, cold af. Orange with a good inch of white head. Very shy aroma of light grains, sugar, a fridge that's remained empty for some time. Doesn't taste of all that much either - sweet, slightly grainy, some pears, fake caramel syrup, toothache. Low bitterness. Alcohol is surprisingly well hidden. Hard to rate - it's clearly well made and there's little that's really nasty about it. But there's nothing good either.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2023 500 ml can, from a SPAR shop in Funchal. ABV is 8.6%. Clear golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma, notes of banana, a hint of soap. Moderately sweet flavour, notes of banana again. Moderate hops.
